(1) Some of my newsletters may have not arrived
- Peter Myers, April 14, 2019

This newsletter has been operating as far back as 2001, perhaps further.

In the early years, I could post a newsletter and be confident that it
would arrive. But about ten years ago, late in the presidency of George
W Bush, I noticed interference by government agencies.

Some of my newsletters were being diverted to recipients' Spam/Junk
Folder, or blocked by their Internet Service Provider.

So I do my own checks on whether newsletters arrive.

In recent days, this one, in particular, seems to have been censored:

How the God of Israel became God of Heaven -  Laurent Guyénot

My latest one on Israel Folau also may have been filed in your Spam
folder. Here are the main bits again:

(A) Tongans in Childers - by Peter Myers, April 14, 2019

Nine days ago, before the Israel Folau story hit the news, I met two
Tongans in my small town, Childers Qld.

The Childers-Bundaberg region is a major fruit and vegetable growing
area, supplying the east coast markets (Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne) as
well as export. The main crops are avocadoes, mangoes, macadamia nuts,
lychees, tomatoes, citrus fruits, small crops (zucchinis, capsicums) and
sugar cane.

The Tongans were here for 6 months to pick lemons, and send the money
home to their families in Tonga. They met other backpackers from
Germany, Russia etc.

They have been here for five months, and had not visited anyone's home,
so I invited them to come & see our small farm (7/8 acre). This morning,
I picked them up and showed them around.

Here's the photo. They are big guys, and make me look small:

Apaiata, on the left, is 30, and has one child; Siate, on the right, is
35 and has three.

You can see why these people would be good footballers: they are solidly
built.

I asked what they eat back home, to get so big. Taro is their staple
food; coconuts, mangoes and mangoes grow wild. They cultivate breadfruit
trees, bananas (plantain i.e. cooking bananas, which they eat green as a
vegetable), and orange trees. Also chicken and pork, free-range.

They are Christians, quite aware of Israel Folau; and told me that
homosexuality is illegal in Tonga.

(B) Israel Folau youtubes; sacking him could bring down the Gay Lobby -
Peter Myers, April 14, 2019

Israel Folau has a cult following. The officials and sponsors will sack
him at their own peril. And it could rebound on the Gay Lobby. A
Polynesian footballer, a working class man, could bring down the
second-mightiest lobby in this country and the world.

See him in action on the field:

(2) Folau a Working Class Hero

Interesting that the Tongan did not think to include Muslims in his
'hellbound' rant as they would certainly qualify from the point of view
of those hard-shell Christians.

Not that many Muslims in rugby? Plenty in football.

People should learn to keep their yap shut when dealing with such
sensitive situations. But the Abrahamic religions are notorious for
their narrow-mindedness and condemnatory stance. 'Live and let live'
ain't part of the Gospel for them.

Society moves on, Peter. You may not like it but it has always been
there, under the covers, in the closet. What, by the way, is the
official / de facto stance in Oz on polygamy? It seems to have taken a
firm hold in Eurabia and the UK. Nobody dares touch it.

Byron,

 > it has always been there,
 > under the covers, in the closet

But for the last 50 years, the Gay lobby has used an in-your-face approach.

They're operating in our schools, they've removed our Free Speech, and
the media is blasting their viewpoint everywhere.

I accept your right to have your beliefs; and Folau to have his beliefs too.

The reason that Folau's sacking could bring down the Gay lobby is that
he is a hero of the Working Class.

The Working Class? Yes, not the Trotskyists who purport to lead them,
who have never done a day's manual work in their lives, but the REAL
Working Class, who voted for Brexit and then Trump.

THEY have the potential to bring down the Gay Lobby; and this could be
the issue that does it, by waking people up to what the Gay lobby is all
about.

Peter

Former Wallabies coach Alan Jones says it's time people "toughen up" and
accept that Folau is entitled to believe that gay people are destined to
go to hell.
