9 Larouche put to the test: on Finance, 9/11 and Uighurs

Larouche put to the test: on Finance, 9/11 and Uighurs

I studied Larouche material in the late 1990s. Through it, I came across the 1946 Baruch Plan for World Government - a proposal I consider more "Jewish" than "British".

But in the last decade, more and more junk and name-calling has appeared in Larouche literature.

Larouche, as Michael Hudson says in item 5, has never ceased predicting financial collapse. At last, he's right.

Nevertheless, his call for large-scale debt cancellation (item 4) seems appropriate, and this accords with Hudson's ideas too, based on the Babylonian precedents he relates (reflected in the Jubilee Year mandated in Leviticus 25 in the Jewish Bible).

However, Larouche's favourite banker, Alexander Hamilton, placed the Money Power in private hands - not what we want: http://mailstar.net/money-masters.html

On China's suppression of the Uighur demonstration in Urumchi, I find the Larouche articles (items 1 & 2) unsatisfactory.

China's destruction of the second main Uighur city, Kashgar, is a deplorable act which should have elicited protests from UNESCO.

Earthquake risk was just an excuse. The Old City of Kashgar had been there for hundreds of years; the Uighurs did not want it destroyed; and there is plenty of other land available for development.

The destruction increased the Uighur sense of being under siege.

It's probably not inappropriate to suspect CIA involvement in Tibetan & Uighur politics, but that's no reason to be sycophantic to China, as Larouche material is. Why not be equally critical of Chinese failings as of "British"?

Item 6, the latest Larouche piece on 9/11, suffers from logorrhea (like much of Larouche's writing). It's a very long article about a "British"-Saudi connection behind 9/11, which I've shortened substantially.

After skimming it, I decided to check the two main Larouche websites to see if they had anything to say about Controlled Demolition at 9/11. I searched on Demolition, and also on Steven E. Jones (see item 7).

These Larouche websites made no mention of either. So as far as 9/11 goes, we can throw Larouche writings in the trash.

On March 7, two Chinese Uighurs, travelling on China Southern airline flight CZ6901, were taken off the plane at Lanzhou and taken into custody for trying to blow up the plane. The incident indicated the activation of disgruntled Uighurs by Britain, to create chaos within China and disrupt its final preparations for the Beijing Olympics. Three days later, demonstrations against China began in Lhasa, Tibet. After three days of relatively peaceful demonstrations, Tibetan rioters took control and set fire to shops owned by ethnic Chinese, burning many of them alive.

Protests spread from Tibet into three neighboring provinces on March 16, as Tibetans continued to defy a Chinese government crackdown. Angry demonstrations broke out in Tibetan communities in Sichuan, Qinghai, and Gansu provinces. Beijing said it had collected enough evidence to state that the demonstrations were planned, and they were planned to be violent.

U.S. intelligence-funded Radio Free Asia reported subsequently that several hundred Uighurs had staged a demonstration in Khotan, in Xinjiang province, to protest against limits on the wearing of headscarves by Muslim women, and to demand the release of political prisoners and an end to the torture of Uighurs. Fu Chao, an official with the Khotan Regional Administrative Office, said that the protest involved people who wanted to establish an Islamic nation and to separate Xinjiang from China. The Uighurs, who are a dominant ethnic group in Xinjiang, are Muslims.

On April 1, the Washington Post published an op-ed by Uighur dissident Rebiya Kadeer, based in the United States and president of the Uighur American Association, expressing her desire to show “solidarity with the Tibetan people and support their legitimate aspirations for genuine autonomy.”

She reminded fellow Uighurs of February 1997, when “thousands of Uighurs demanding equality, religious freedom and an end to repression by the government peacefully protested in the Ghulja region of East Turkestan, an area designated the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region by the Chinese government. Armed paramilitary police confronted the unarmed demonstrators and bystanders, killing dozens on the spot, including women and young children. In the aftermath of the protest, thousands of Uighurs were detained on suspicion of participating in the demonstration. Tragically, hundreds of Uighurs were executed.”

What emerged from the March 9 incident and the April 1 op-ed by Kadeer, were two sides of the same coin used by the British controllers of many radicalized Muslims, to create chaos and confusion, and even secessionism against nations, for geopolitical reasons. The Uighurs, now caught in that British meat grinder, will be deployed to disrupt the Beijing Olympics and provoke China to take repressive actions.

Uighurs Became British Pawns Although the Uighurs have been re-activated by the British at a time when the Olympic torch was being brought to China from Athens for the Olympics in August, the plan to use them to contain China and to implode it from inside was conceived a long time ago. ...

The Chinese Dilemma in Xinjiang

On July 5, Urumqi, capital of the western Chinese province of Xinjiang, was thrown into turmoil when a demonstration by some members of the local Uighur Muslim community, protesting against the migrated Han Chinese community, turned violent. The violence led to many deaths, in both communities. At the time of writing, violence continues and there are reports that it is spreading to the southern Xinjiang town of Kashgar, close to the Pakistan border.

It is evident from the way events unfolded, that the demonstration and violence were orchestrated from outside. Although they are Muslims, the Uighur demonstrators did not raise Islamic slogans but, instead, demonstrated against Beijing. The protest was a demand for the arrest and prosecution of Han Chinese workers who attacked Uighur workers in a toy factory in Guangdong in Southern China on June 25, 2009, killing two Uighurs. The Han Chinese had attacked the Uighurs following the circulation of a report through the Internet alleging that some Uighur workers had raped two Han Chinese women. According to the Chinese authorities, that report of rape was found to be false.

British Intelligence and the National Endowment for Democracy

But this "false" incident became the rallying point against Beijing by West-based organizations run top down by British intelligence and its cohorts. Already in the spotlight are four outfits based in the West - World Uighur Congress (WUC), its funding agent, the US-based National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and the Soros-funded New York-based Human Rights Watch. NED was deeply involved in financing and orchestrating a series of "colour revolutions" to force "regime changes" in Central Asia during the Bush administration days.

WUC is an umbrella for 47 groups worldwide, with headquarters in Munich. Also prominent were the East Turkestan National Congress, based in Munich, Germany, and a part of the WUC since 2004, and the British intelligence-infested Amnesty International, based in UK.

Amnesty International has accused Beijing of "systematic and extensive human rights violations" against the Muslim minority, including restrictions on freedom of worship, language, and arbitrary arrests, and has called for an "independent and impartial enquiry" into the events amid fears the EU will treat its giant trade partner with kid gloves. "We shouldn't be seeing these issues undermined by trade or other economic considerations. There should be no special cases," the advocacy group's Brussels director, Nicolas Berger, said.

But the marching order to start a violent demonstration in Urumqi emanated from WUC. Rebiya Kadeer, an exiled wealthy Uighur businesswoman, who also heads the US-based Uighur American Association, made telephone calls to Urumqi on July 3, ostensibly urging local leaders to take to the streets. Kadeer, who met President Bush during his eight-year reign as President of the United States a number of times, was lauded by the US President as an "apostle of freedom."

At a news conference in Washington on July 6, Kadeer,  "explaining the  telephone call," said that when she heard on June 3  that protests were planned, she called one of her brothers in Urumqi and told him to stay at home. "I did not organize the protests or call on people to demonstrate," she said. "A call to my brother doesn't mean I organized the whole event." She added that while the groups she leads condemn the Chinese government's excessive use of force, "we also condemn in no uncertain terms the violent actions of some of the Uighur demonstrators."

But, Kadeer's closeness to the NED and her official position with the WUC leaves no doubt that Kadeer is a pawn of British intelligence. She is also the voice in support of the Tibetan Dalai Lama and the various foreign intelligence-run anti-Beijing Tibetan groups. She had gone public expressing "solidarity with the Tibetan people" and supporting "their legitimate aspirations for genuine autonomy." ...

Chinese suspicions: How US Subverts China, Iran

The Frontier Post (Pakistan)

July 8, 2009

http://www.thefrontierpost.com/News.aspx?ncat=ed&nid=128

For the fatal ethnic riots in its sensitive Xinjiang province, which have claimed at least 140 lives, the Chinese government has blamed exiled Uighur separatists.

The foreign-based World Uighur Congress has specifically been named by the authorities for inciting these riots.

Statedly, the outfit is headed by one Rebiya Kadeer, an exiled Uighur businesswoman, settled in the United States.

Indeed, over time the Chinese have persistently accused the Americans of fueling ethnic sentiments and antipathies and inciting separatism in China, particularly in its Tibet and Xinjiang provinces, and of patronising and employing the exiled dissidents to this end.

And not so untenably. Even in these riots, most of the dead and injured were Han Chinese. On this score, the Chinese are even sour with us [Pakistan]. They believe the Americans have made our tribal region a base for training, arming and bankrolling the Uighur terrorists and then launching them into Xinjiang for terrorism.

And they are unhappy that despite their persistent requests Islamabad is less than intent on shutting down this American wellspring for violence and terrorism in China.

Indeed, their Communist Party had in despair invited the top leader of one of our politico-religious parties and concluded an agreement for his party's cooperation in fighting terrorism.

And if reports are to be believed, recently the Pakistani agencies did track down and arrest here several Chinese nationals wanted by Beijing and handed them over to Chinese authorities.

There indeed is a big stinking foulness with the American act. As they keep haranguing the world on morality and ethics and continue striking boisterously high postures of self-righteousness, they know of no qualms in flouting what they preach for the attainment of their geopolitical objectives and for furthering their economic interests.
As they exhort the world community not to let its soil being used for terrorism abroad, they uninhibitedly use others' territories to this end quite unconscionably.

It is not just the Chinese, our proven trustworthy all-weather friends who have stood by us through thick and thin unwaveringly, who are upset with us for letting the Americans use our soil for spawning, nurturing and fanning terrorism on Chinese territory, although they are feeling no lesser queasy about the Obama administration's troop surge in their neighbouring Afghanistan, making up as it does part of a region rich in oil, gas and minerals, and housing locations of immense strategic value.

The Iranians too are miffed with us for not reining in the Americans from making a launching pad of our Balochistan province for subversion, sabotage and terrorism in Iran's Sistan-Balochistan province by the American proxy Jundullah, a US-funded terrorist outfit of Iranian exiles, dissidents and their local cohorts. But it is not just immigrant diasporas, exiles and dissidents that the Americans make use of to destabilise a country or a nation they want to be under their thumb or to dislodge a government they do not like and intend to replace with their puppets, lackeys and quislings.

Unashamedly, their Congress too publicly sanctions and allocates public funds to this end, ostensibly under the deceptive cover of prompting democracy projects in the targeted country but in reality to spread hatred and chaos through inflammatory broadcasts by the clandestinely-placed funnily-named Radio Liberty and by financing exiles and dissidents to spread violence, chaos and disorder there.

In the region, for years on end Saddam Hussein's Iraq was on that Congress-honoured list, until the US-led armies of the free world invaded and occupied the sovereign country of Iraq illegally and unlawfully and he was toppled.

For quite long, Syria has had the prized honour of being on that Congress roll. And Iran too is being likewise honoured by this US morality hound, the Congress.

So honoured by the US Congress stands many a lucky one in the world community even now.

But, candidly put, the Americans have their own agendas and their own axes to grind, and will be least bothered about morality and ethics and all the rest of that bunkum in perpetuating their own interests.
But at least the hierarchy in Islamabad can keep its skirts clean from the mud that American adventurism splatters all around in its mad quest for accomplishing its objectives. Can't it?

Will somebody out there take time out and think who are the perpetrators of the murders of Chinese engineers and technicians working on our dam and port construction projects and at whose behest are they perpetuating these heinous acts on the nationals of our dearest friend?

(4) Larouche's latest on Financial crisis - debt must be cancelled

http://www.larouchepub.com/pr_lar/2009/lar_pac/090701private_audience.html

PRESS RELEASE
LYNDON H. LAROUCHE, JR.
Recipe For Recovery:
Get Rid of the Monetary System,
Restore the Original U.S.-Style Credit System

July 1, 2009 (EIRNS)—The following remarks were made by Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. today to a private audience.

Well, the theme should be today, throughout the world, that the world is in the greatest financial-monetary crisis, and economic crisis, in modern world history. This has been in process since the summer of 2007, when I first forecast this thing. And it's getting worse. It has had political ramifications, of course, throughout the world, and most governments have been resisting the reality of trying to pretend that this was only a financial crisis of some sort, that it would go away, that it could be fixed. And policies have been made on the assumption, that this thing is not going to crash, that there's going to be a recovery after a "period of pain."

Well, it's more than a period of pain. The present world financial-monetary system is about to go out of existence. And the only chance for having a civilization, is to put this world system into bankruptcy reorganization, and to replace the present financial-monetary system, with a credit system. Now, the crucial point here, is that very few people know what a credit system is. Everyone is convinced that monetary systems have ruled the world, and will continue to rule the world. And they assume they call up an accountant, which is the worst thing you can do these days. All you'll get is bad news, and you'll get sickness, and family break-ups and so forth.

But the issue is, that the world is governed by an empire. The empire has existed in European civilization since the period of the Peloponnesian War, in which certain monetary interests, money interests, as such, have been higher in rank than governments. Sometimes this has taken the form of an empire as such. But today's empires are not empires of governments as such, they're empires of consortia of financial interests, and monetary interests. And you have institutions, especially in a so-called free market, which is the worst form of government imaginable: In a free market, so-called, the monetary interests are above government. International financial-monetary interests are higher than government. These governments control the currency, the monetary system of the world, and of nations, and this is what constitutes a real empire. People above government, controlling government, where governments are supposed to respect the "free market" — and the free market is the system of slavery of governments.

Now, you've seen a manifestation of this, because back in the summer of 2007, I announced this crisis which has been coming on ever since, and indicated there was a remedy, and indicated what the temporary remedy was for the United States: to put the system into bankruptcy reorganization. And actually, we're going to have to cancel, if civilization is going to survive, we're going to have to cancel most of these monetary-financial claims which are outstanding out there, and go back to what was called "the American System." Now, the American System, which was developed in what became the United States, was unique. No other part of the world initiated such a system, as the type we initiated. The problem of our country, today, is, at various points, powerful interests, international interests, have intruded upon and been able to wreck our system. And have brought us into subjugation to an international monetary system, in large degree, especially since 1968-1973.

So, the world as a whole is run by monetary systems. The monetary systems are under a free trade system, are completely international. International financier monetary interests control governments; every government of Europe, every government of the Americas, is today governed by an imperial power called an international monetary system. It fixes the rates.

The United States was unique in its organization from the beginning. Back in days of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, between 1620 and 1688, in that period, the Massachusetts Bay Colony developed a credit system, it was called a scrip system. They uttered a form of money which was negotiable only within the colony, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and this continued until the British intervened, during the period of King James II and his follower William, of William and Mary, to impose a monetary system on the United States. There was an attempt to return to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which was actually a credit system, under the initiative of Benjamin Franklin and his proposal for a paper currency. In the 1770s, Alexander Hamilton recognized a problem we had in the United States, which I cite here, again, because it's relevant to our current situation internationally, among nations internationally. Hamilton recognized, first of all, that the problem of the United States, which had just won its victory in a military struggle for Independence, was bankrupt, because each of the states, which had had separate state banking systems, of the separate colonies, were now in dire trouble because of the war debts they had incurred in defeating the British imperialists. So Hamilton said, "Well, there's no way that these states can deal with this problem."

We had a form of constitution in the Declaration of Independence, in which the principle was there, but we didn't have the mechanism. Well, Hamilton said: If we create a National Bank, as a credit-based bank, we can create a National Bank which will take over the backing and reorganization of these separate state-banking systems, under a National Banking system. But he also specified that in order to do this, we had to go to our constitution then, which was the Declaration of Independence, and take the principle of that and apply it, in a form which would deal with this debt problem.

So what he did, and what they did, is they went to have a Constitutional Congress, and the Constitutional Congress gave us the U.S. Constitution, which provided that the United States would not be subject to foreign monetary systems, but would be an independent, national credit system, at that time, headed by a National Bank; that no money can be uttered under law, under Constitutional law in the United States at that time, except by permission of the Federal government. No other authority, higher than the Federal government itself can utter money. This money is uttered with the consent of the Congress, and the administration as executed by the Executive branch.

Therefore, no foreign power — the same thing happened in the case of Abraham Lincoln's leadership of the revolt against the British Empire, called our Civil War. And the bankers would not allow money to be lent, except at high interest rates to the United States government. So Abraham Lincoln went back to our Constitution, and issued what became known as "greenbacks": No money was allowed in circulation, except U.S. money, printed and guaranteed by the U.S. government. And through that means, we rescued our nation, not only won the war, but created the United States as the most advanced industrial power in the world, right in that period, by use of our credit system, to utilize the productive powers of labor and progress in an effective way.

So, as a result of the domination of the world by the British Empire, which has dominated the world through this entire period, except during the period of Roosevelt's administration. The world has been dominated by an international monetary system, which in terms of the Mediterranean civilization, dates from the Peloponnesian War. There has never been a truly independent system, except for very brief intervals, in the entire history of Europe. And the entirety of the world, insofar as it's subjugated to the British Empire, has been subjugated to that condition, up to the present day!

What happened during the period of World War I, is that we had corrupt Presidents — who were really traitors in my view — Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, who introduced the British system through establishing the Federal Reserve Bank, which was actually an intrusion; it was un-Constitutional, a money-creating facility outside the United States. Under Franklin Roosevelt, this was somewhat controlled. But with the death of Roosevelt, we began down the wrong road, and then, with the break-up of the Bretton Woods system entirely, in 1968-73, in that period, then we went to a world free-market system.

It is that world monetarist system, a so-called free-market system, which is now crashing. As long as we continue to accept the existence of that debt, which is the international monetarist debt, under this system, civilization worldwide is doomed. The only way that we'll get out of this mess, the only possibility for recovery, of any part of the world, is to cancel the present, international monetarist system. And have, instead, a system of nation-states, each sovereign, who declare a common participation in a system of national credit, the credit controlled as a sovereign matter of each state. And to combine these nations in a single system, by having a fixed-exchange-rate system among them. And we're talking about, essentially the goal of a fixed-exchange-rate system based on the idea of national credit of between 1.5 and 2%. Because at higher rates of interest, at higher rates of borrowing, you can not develop a balanced recovery of the world economy.

What we need now, today, as you know, we do not have the industry and agriculture development we need globally; we're losing it — losing it at a rapid rate. We need, largely, for nations to undertake long-term credit operations, in terms of infrastructure development, both rural and industrial, and use this kind of development as a stimulus for developing a full-spectrum economy. And that we must think in terms of 30- to 50-year long-term agreements on treaty agreements for development, each conducted by sovereign nations, but a sharing of credit from a common credit system — a fixed-exchange-rate credit system — among governments. For example, let's take the case of Russia and China: China is in a hopeless situation. China was lured into the idea that it was going to have a world market, guaranteed by the United States and the British, especially the United States; and so, China expanded its economy, through an export economy, but they did that by pricing their goods so cheaply that China could not sustain its entire population on that export economy. Because China was working at cheap-labor rates, way below the cost of the U.S. product. The U.S. product was superior, in productivity and other terms. But! China worked very cheap, and therefore, it expanded its market as the United States and Europe, dumped and shut down its industrial economy and shipped production to China.

The same thing happened in other countries, where cheap labor and cheap goods, where income was expanded, but not at rates sufficient to maintain the balanced development of these economies.

So China found itself in a position today, where it had a large economy, based largely on the market in the United States and Europe, and some other countries. But the key margin was the United States, and so forth. And the United States was exporting its industry, deindustrializing itself — as Europe was — for this market. When the market collapsed, China found itself with a budget which was based on the assumption that this global market was going to continue to exist, and expand — and suddenly, that market collapsed. And the collapse of that market means it will never come back. So, China is faced with a crisis.

Russia is faced with a different kind of crisis, but it's similar. It's faced with a crisis where it depended upon export of raw materials, particularly power, natural gas, petroleum, and so forth, this kind of thing. Suddenly, Russia depended upon that — the market has collapsed! Because the world market has collapsed. So Russia now has a major crisis.

India has less of a crisis, but it has also a very large, poor population. It's more stable, because it's less export-dependent, but it has a large, impoverished population.

So, what is needed is a global system of cooperation, among credit systems, in which we recognize what the world needs, in terms of physical levels of production, physical improvements in conditions of life. It must be sovereign, it must be done by sovereign nation-states. But there must be also a system of international credit-sharing, in support of long-term projects, and we're talking about essentially a 50-year perspective. Which means, you have to design, which can be done very quickly, a 50-year agreement on a credit organization among nation-states, in which we can integrate the aims and objectives of recovery of these nations.

Now, that would mean putting the system through bankruptcy. This would mean that most of the debt, which is currently outstanding, is financial speculative debt. Nations are being bled to death, by a system of speculative debt. Under bankruptcy reorganization, according to U.S. law, most of this debt that is found to be worthless, will be simply cancelled. And the amount of debt will be restricted to a stable banking system, under credit system rules. It's the only possible way. As long as we try to demand, that the world economy be collapsed in order to pay a cancerously growing debt, there is no chance of recovery. Under the present rules, of the present system, and under the rules of globalization, there's no chance for the survival of civilization in any part of this planet, today! So we will have to do this, make this reform, because there's no other chance: Unless you want to collapse the civilization and want to go from 6.7 billion people on this planet, to less than 2 fairly quickly, you're going to do that kind of reform. And that's what I've been presenting and that's what I've been arguing for. I know time is on my side. But time is also against us: Because, if this process continues, the rate of death in this planet, from diseases and other effects, is going to wipe out a lot of the world's population. Whole nations will simply disappear from the map.

Or, if we do it, we'll survive. And it's the only chance.

And therefore, I'm sitting in that situation, where what I'm proposing will work, but if it's not done, then the whole planet's going into a dark age, worse than any on known record! And that's in the short term.

The political crises, as well as the present disease crisis, internationally, are a byproduct of this situation. You know, diseases, like this present flu epidemic, are diseases which are actually promoted by conditions for spread of disease. And therefore, these kinds of things hit, as they did, for example in the 14th Century in Europe, the population collapsed what?— by 30%!—in a generation, in Europe, in the dark age of the 14th Century. It collapsed, following a collapse of the banking system of that period, which had brought down the entire economy of Europe. The result of that was chaos, and mass death.

All of these kinds of conditions, like the great flu epidemic of 1918, in the world, was a result of wartime-type conditions, especially centered in Europe, and in the fact of U.S. soldiers who had served in Europe, which brought this 1918 flu epidemic upon us. The present international flu epidemic is a symptom of the same kind of thing, and it's going to spread. It's spread, because the physical conditions of life, the physical conditions of sanitation, have reached the point that these diseases break out, not merely because the disease is being promoted, but the conditions to promote the disease and its variation has been that.

So we're at that kind of point. And my concern is, if the United States will change its policy and enter into agreement with other nations, for such a change in policy, we can force through the kind of immediate reform, which parallels the reform designed by Alexander Hamilton, back during the period of the American Revolutionary War and following. It'll work. It's the only chance, the only chance, now. Under the present system, there's no chance for civilization — we're going into a dark age. This is not a financial crisis. This is not a depression. It's not a recession. It's not a mere financial crisis. It's a breakdown crisis of the system! And if you look at the figures, on employment and production, in the United States and other countries, as in Europe, you look at the rate at which key industries are disappearing, you look at what's happening in agriculture, what you're seeing is a trend, now, well-established, which is going to reduce the world's population, in the direction of about 2 billion people, down from 6.7 right now. So therefore, we have no choice, but to make this kind of reform. This kind of reform will work. The precedent exists for it, especially in the case of the United States' example: When we did this, each time we did this and went back to our system, rather than the British system, we prospered. Each time we submitted to British influence, British bankers' influence over Wall Street, we went down. That's the lesson.

And our mission, as the United States, in my view, is the fact that we have in our experience, the understanding of a credit system, as opposed to a monetary one, where all European experience since the Peloponnesian War, to the present time, has been that of a monetary system. Get rid of the monetary system, use the principle of national sovereignty, of sovereign nation-states in cooperation for a fixed-exchange credit system, and we can recover.

(6) Larouche (EIR) latest on 9/11 - takes a shot at ex-Larouchite Webster G. Tarpley

From: orm <ormg1@bigpond.com> Date:  13.07.2009 10:16 AM

The following article will appear as the lead story in the July 17, 2009 edition of Executive Intelligence Review.

9/11 COVER IS BLOWN - by Jeffrey Steinberg

http://larouchepac.com/node/10997

July 10--In the report that follows, you will discover that some of the most fundamental assumptions that you have been clinging to, since Sept. 11, 2001--assumptions that Lyndon LaRouche warned against--have been a total fraud. Much of what you have been told about the events of 9/11 have been a hoax. The truth, which is clearly revealed in newly declassified documents, available through the National Archives, is that two leading, presumed U.S. allies--Saudi Arabia and Great Britain--were up to their eyeballs in the attacks on New York City and Washington. The United States was betrayed by leading elements within the Saudi Arabian Royal Family and intelligence services, in league with the British Empire. And, top officials of the Bush-Cheney White House, the Justice Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were both aware of, and fully complicit in the coverup of the crime of the century.

The Anglo-Saudi alliance behind the 9/11 atrocity is represented, most graphically, by a 25-year-old secret intelligence arrangement, concealed beneath a lucrative arms-for-oil barter deal called "al-Yamamah." There is now sufficient, credible evidence that funds from the offshore al-Yamamah accounts were funneled to at least two of the 9/11 hijackers, to warrant a high-profile Justice Department probe, without delay.

The newly released documents, when cross-gridded with other evidence already in the public domain, confirm the Anglo-Saudi hand behind 9/11, and debunk nearly eight years of conspiracy rubbish, that have portrayed the attacks as a scheme by cave-dwellers and "under-the-floorboard" mysterious forces. The writings of a former LaRouche associate, Webster Tarpley, more or less typify the kind of off-course conspiracy mongering that is now thoroughly discredited by the new material and the larger picture assembled by {EIR} researchers.

Elements of the story have already been reported in {EIR}, and LaRouche instinctively pointed to the true nature of the operation, in a now-famous radio interview that he gave to the Salt Lake City-based syndicated radio host Dr. Jack Stockwell, as the hijacked planes were crashing into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.

If the full implications of the new, confirming evidence of the Anglo-Saudi hand in the 9/11 attack are comprehended and acted on, by the appropriate U.S. and other government services, one of the root sources of global asymmetric warfare can be wiped out--with many other side benefits as well.

- The New Evidence -

Early this year, the National Archives released documents from the files of the 9/11 Commission, which were previously classified. Three of those documents, recently obtained by {EIR}, provide the "smoking gun," proving the central role of Saudi intelligence, and the critical support role of British intelligence in the preparation, execution, and coverup of 9/11. The most significant of the documents, still partly classified, is a "Memorandum for the Record," summarizing an April 23, 2004 interview with a Southern California-based FBI informant, who rented out a room in his home to two of the 9/11 hijackers, during 2000. Although the memorandum redacted the informant's name, other public sources have identified the man as {{Abdussattar Shaikh}}. His FBI handler has also been publicly named as Steven Butler.

In the interview, Shaikh provided a detailed account of his first encounter with the two 9/11 hijackers, {{Nawaf al-Hazmi}} and {{Khalid al-Mihdhar}}. In April 2000, Shaikh posted an announcement on the bulletin board at the Islamic Center of San Diego (ICSD), offering to rent rooms in his home to "devout Muslims." At the time he posted the ad, Shaikh was already acting as a paid informant for the FBI. According to his account to 9/11 Commission investigators Quinn John Tamm, Jr. and Dietrich Snell, Shaikh was approached after Friday prayers by al-Hazmi, who said he and al-Mihdhar urgently needed housing. By Shaikh's account, the two men moved into his home on May 10, 2000. Al-Mihdhar left after six weeks, claiming that he was returning to Saudi Arabia to visit his wife and young child. Al-Hazmi lived in the room until Dec. 10, 2000, when he moved out to attend pilot school in Arizona. ...

Search it for  Demolition. Result: 9 hits, none about 9/11.

Now search the main Larouche website (EIR), at http://www.larouchepub.com/
