There Is Still Hope Out There V: More About Nebulizing

Apr 01 2020

Hi Folks,

Well…people are reading and listening.  I am hearing back from so many
of you about nebulizing.  Allow me to try and clarify how I do it in my
practice.  HOWEVER, nebulizers should only be used in conjunction with
your doctor's advice.  I am not directing anyone to nebulize anything on
their own.  Anything can be harmful, both natural items and synthetic
drugs.  Nebulizers should not be used without medical supervision.

I have many patients nebulize both hydrogen peroxide and iodine over the
years.  I have happily prescribed these therapies because they work and
are safe when done appropriately.

Here's how my patients are instructed to nebulize hydrogen peroxide: My
clinical staff mixes a bag of sterile normal saline, food grade-diluted
hydrogen peroxide (food grade 35% diluted to 3%), and minerals.  My
partners and I have worked to perfect this formula for years.  The
patient draws off 3cc of the mixture and places it in a nebulizer and
breathes the solution in.  Sometimes I have them add a drop or two of 5%
Lugol's iodine to the mixture. (Note: We only do this for active
patients.  If you are not an active patient, we will not send this to
you. Mixing this solution makes it our responsibility. I take this
responsibility to my patients seriously.) We charge $40.00 for this bag.
There are about 80 treatments in the bag which comes out to $0.50 per
treatment.  This product is one of the best things we do in our
practice.  I have so many wonderful stories to tell about using this.
Once mixed in the bag, since it is sterile, it can be used for a few
months if kept in the refrigerator.

Iodine Nebulizing:  I instruct my patients to add a drop or two of
Lugol's 5%  solution to 3 cc of normal saline (0.9% saline).  Normal
saline can be purchased at a pharmacy.  If someone has Lugol's 2%
solution, they can use 2-4 drops in 3cc of normal saline.

My patients are resourceful people.  Sometimes they make their own
nebulized solutions.  I do not recommend these as they can have
impurities and they will not store well.  For example, some use
over-the-counter 3% hydrogen peroxide (in the brown bottles and
available at many stores).  They take 3cc of that mixture and dilute it
in 250cc of normal saline.  Then they nebulize 3cc of that mixture. I
have not heard of poor outcomes from doing this, but I would never
recommend storing this solution as there are impurities in it.

In my cousin Jeremiah's case, we were in an acute situation.  He was 200
miles away and could not breathe.  We could not find normal saline, so I
guided him to make his own saline solution.  It is not as pure as buying
sterile, normal saline.  (Note:  Do not buy normal saline with
preservatives like eye saline solutions).   Here's what I told
Jeremiah's wife:  Mix 1?4 tsp of Celtic Brand Sea Salt in a cup of clean
water (distilled, reverse osmosis or something like that).  Stir the
solution up, let the particulate matter fall to the bottom.  Scoop off
the top until you have 250cc (or at least 200cc).  1 cup is equal to
just over 200cc.  Jeremiah used the 200 cc (or so) saline solution for
the base.

His wife, Deanna, found 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide.  Food grade
peroxide is much cleaner than over-the-counter peroxide.  To dilute 35%
down to 3%, I had Deanna add 10cc of clean water to 1 cc of 35% hydrogen
peroxide.  That dilutes it down to 3% (very close to it). Once the 3%
solution was made, I asked Deanna to take 3cc of that and mix it with
the 200cc (or so) saline solution that she made up previously.  Now he
was ready to nebulize.  I had Jeremiah take 3cc of the final mixture and
nebulize it.

I would only use this mixture for a few nebulizing treatments until pure
normal saline can be purchased.  I would not store this solution for a
long period of time.

I instruct my patients to nebulize 3-5 times per day if sick and 1-2
times per day if using it as a preventative.

I hope this helps.  I cannot answer all the questions about nebulizing.
We are doing telemedicine and taking new patients.  We are happy to
help you out with this.  To make an appointment, call our Business

Final Thoughts:

The internet sells a lot of bad products.  I simply do not know what
brand of food grade hydrogen peroxide sold on the internet to recommend.
We use medical and professional sourcing for our intravenous and
nebulized products.  Therefore, it is best to work under the guidance of
a competent holistic doctor who is skilled in IV therapy.

hi Peter,

Really really appreciated your drawing my attention to Dr Brownstein
(and my mum who drew my attention to your stuff on it!)...

Under section (4) in last email:

+ Iodine at least 50 ml

I think it's 50mg not ml – 50ml would be 50g vs 50mg… each drop of 12%
lugol's contains 7.5mg iodine, but 50g is on/above toxicity levels.
(Bare in mind RDA is typical 150µg, so down again by a massive factor!)

Thx for all you do, btw i have a persistent cough and am nebulising
iodine and h202 – standard 6% pharmacy solution, while i wait for food
grade to arrive. (Bill Munro who pioneered it's use in recent days used
way way stronger than Dr B recommends, and only pharmacy grade and lived
to 90, see below summary and notes to self)

May the Lord protect you,

Tom

Comment (Peter M.): Yes, it's 50 mg of Iodine.

Dr Brownstein writes there, "Penny-Lope, As my patient, I can give you
medical advice. Take iodine along with it. At least 50 mg/day. Also, you
can another round of the higher dosed vitamins for four days. Also,
avoid sugar in the diet, keep hydrated and take a bath with Epsom salts
twice per day or go in a sauna."

Dr B. usually advises 1 or 2 drops of 5% aqueous Iodine in 200ml of
saline solution.

Tom continues:

______

I recommend 1/4 teaspoon of unrefined salt and 1-2 drops of Lugol's 5%
solution in a nettipot. Drain the sinuses twice per day and more if
sick. Dr Brownstein

I think nebulizing hydrogen peroxide and iodine should be done on every
COVID patient.  It should be done on every pneumonia patient.  It should
be done on every influenza-suffering patient.  It should be done on
every patient suffering from lung problems.

I tell them to put 1-2 drops of Lugol's 5% in 3cc of normal saline and

For hydrogen peroxide, food grade hydrogen peroxide should be used.

Dilute food grade—35%–peroxide down to 3% using clean, sterile water {10
water to 1 H2O2}. Then, 3cc of that diluted mixture was further diluted
in 250 cc of normal saline.  Finally, 3 cc of the saline-diluted mixture
can be nebulized.

(3) Discussion about Nebulizing, with Tom in UK

Peter M. to Tom in UK:

DrB. gives a formula for Iodine Nebulizing, and a formula for h2o2
Nebulizing, but I can't see that he combines them.

If you can combine them, you would add 2 drops of 5% aqueous Iodine to
the 200ml of saline solution.

Then mix 3cc of 3% h2o2 with it.

Then put 3cc of that into the Nebulizer.

I've got a Nebulizer, but never used it. 3cc sounds a very small amount
to put into it. Could that be correct?

Do you Nebulize Iodine and h2o2 together? Or separately? What formula do
you use?

From: Tom in UK
Subject: Re: Iodine Nebulizing, and h2o2 Nebulizing

Hi Peter,

3cc is small, and you always leave some behind anyway, but my machine
says 2.5-10ml (=cc) of medicine in cup. I only turn it on while
breathing in, and then pause and hold it in my lungs while doing so!
Takes me about 20 minutes to get through 3cc that way. If you leave it
on all the time 3cc will be gone in 5/10 minutes or so (I think machine
claims).

Since DrB said alternate, i’ve alternated to date, I don't particularly
judge myself competent to invent! Ah, yes, he said alternate in one of
his articles, and in this latest one he says he adds iodine to h2o2
solution. so presumably fine to do. May give this a try, then iodine and
h2o2 at each of the 3/4 times a day.

I’ve got lots of 20ml 0.9% plastic ampules (bizarrely had them already
in hand!), so one of those makes the saline base for 2 x 10ml (old
essential oil) bottles. One is labelled h2o2 with the various drop
numbers depending on percentage strengths of h2o2 solution – and the
other bottle is labelled iodine with varying drop numbers depending on %
strength of Lugols, so I can quickly refill correctly, w/o having to
reference my maths!

I can see why he was afraid of being sued, big pharma/FDA might well
take exception to people self-medicating and getting well!

My formula had bad maths, so i’m correcting and will send through when done.

Thx again Peter, I’m already feeling better (6 nebulisings in) – but
still coughing last night and today, and still took several hours to get
to sleep.

Blessings,

T

I read that if a person does not have a nebulizer that they could put
boiling water in a bowl and add a dropper full of iodine in the
boiling water and put a towel over their head and breathe in the

Peter...
The lack of natural quinine in India was a bit of a mystery but it seems
that the Neem trees which do not contain quinine do definitely cure (
and prevent) Malaria and Dengue Fever.

As that is so it seems to be strongly probable that Neem will cure
and/or prevent corona virus if taken with the nice and available broad
spectrum antibiotic turmeric...which is also...among its many other
virtues... anti inflammatory, which may be helpful too. I hope that this
means that the people of India this time do not need to die of this man
made foreign assault.

Prevention of Malaria and Dengue was achieved by chewing a couple of
Neem leaves every day. As ths  virus is double in action it needs a
double medication so taking a reasonable amount of turmeric every day
will complete the traditional protection.

US Navy aircraft carrier commander seeks evacuation of entire crew to
stem outbreak of coronavirus

By Patrick Martin

2 April 2020

The commander of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt has sent a
four-page letter to his superiors appealing for the Navy to move nearly
his entire crew into quarantine on the US Pacific island territory of
Guam, where the vessel has docked since coronavirus infections were
detected on board.

All 4,000 sailors are being tested for coronavirus—after several days of
delay when only those showing symptoms were tested—and at least 100
positives were reportedly found. Sailors began reporting sick about two
weeks after the aircraft carrier made a port call at Da Nang, Vietnam.
At the time, there were about 100 cases of coronavirus reported in
Vietnam, most of them in the Hanoi area, well north of Da Nang.

Captain Brett Crozier made an unusually emotional appeal to save the
lives of his sailors, according to the text made public by the San
Francisco Chronicle. "Decisive action is required. Removing the majority
of personnel from a deployed U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier and isolating
them for two weeks may seem like an extraordinary measure," he told the
Navy command. "We are not at war. Sailors do not need to die. If we do
not act now, we are failing to properly take care of our most trusted
asset—our sailors."

The March 30 letter proposed that 90 percent of the ship's crew be moved
into isolation on Guam, with only a few hundred left on board to monitor
the carrier's nuclear power plant, safeguard its weapons systems and
perform other core functions, while the giant aircraft carrier was given
a thorough and professional cleaning.

Crozier pointed out that it was impossible to practice social distancing
and isolation on board the carrier. "Due to a warship's inherent
limitations of space, we are not doing this. The spread of the disease
is ongoing and accelerating," he wrote. Among these limitations were
shared sleeping quarters, meal areas and bathrooms, constant movement up
and down ladders and through narrow passageways, and complex work
operations that require close cooperation.

He also noted that about 20 percent of those now diagnosed with the
virus had initially tested negative, only to become infected and show
symptoms later.

Pentagon officials confirmed that Crozier's letter was under review and
that they agreed that sailors needed to leave the ship. Acting Navy
Secretary Thomas Modly told the press, "The problem is that Guam doesn't
have enough beds right now, and so we're having to talk to the
government there to see if we can get some hotel space or create some
tentlike facilities there." [...]

The crisis on the Roosevelt is only the most acute indication of the
serious impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the operations of the
American military machine. While the admirals and generals have a
cavalier attitude to the lives of the rank-and-file—arguing that because
they are mostly young and physically fit, they are in less danger—the
virus thrives on the close quarters and constant interaction of military
life on land and sea. [...]

Several urgent orders were issued, including a halt to all overseas port
calls by US Navy ships, confining the 28,000 US soldiers stationed in
South Korea to their barracks or homes, and halting most troop movements
worldwide for 60 days, except for planned rotation of soldiers out of
Afghanistan.

The US role in NATO military exercises on the Russian border of the
Baltic states and Poland was scaled back to include only the 6,000
troops already dispatched to Europe, leaving 19,000 soldiers at their
bases in the US. [...]

Nearly 3,000 Sailors to Leave US Navy Carrier Amid Virus Outbreak

Nearly 3,000 sailors aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier where the
coronavirus has spread will be taken off the ship by Friday, according
to U.S. Navy officials.

By Associated Press

April 03, 2020

Nearly 3,000 sailors aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier where the
coronavirus has spread will be taken off the ship by Friday, Navy
officials said as they struggle to quarantine crew members in the face
of an outbreak. [...]

In a memo to Navy leaders over the weekend, Crozier said the spread of
the disease was accelerating and that removing all but 10 percent of the
crew would be a "necessary risk" in order to stop the spread of the virus.

"We are not at war. Sailors do not need to die. If we do not act now, we
are failing to properly take care of our most trusted asset our
sailors," said Crozier.

Navy leaders were quick to praise the captain for bringing the dire
nature of the matter to their attention. They brushed away suggestions
that he could be punished because the issue became public so quickly. [...]

Coronavirus: US Navy removes Captain Brett Crozier who raised alarm

3 April 2020

The commander of the USS Theodore Roosevelt has been removed after
saying the US Navy was not doing enough to halt a coronavirus outbreak
on board the aircraft carrier.

In a letter, Capt Brett Crozier had urged his superiors to act to
prevent US troops dying outside of wartime.

But acting US Navy Secretary Thomas Modly said the commander "exercised
extremely poor judgement".

At least 100 people aboard the vessel have been infected, reports say.

What did the US Navy secretary say?

On Thursday, Mr Modly told reporters that Capt Crozier was being fired
for allegedly leaking the letter to the media.

He said the letter "created the impression the Navy was not responding
to his questions".

"It creates the perception the Navy is not on the job; the government is
not on the job. That's just not true."

Pentagon Fires Navy Captain Who Spoke Out About Response To Aircraft
Carrier Outbreak Of COVID-19

by Tyler Durden

Thu, 04/02/2020 - 17:20

This is turning into a major sh*tstorm...

The Pentagon has relieved Navy Capt. Brett Crozier, the commander of the
USS Theodore Roosevelt, from command of the aircraft carrier after he
allegedly leaked a copy of a scathing letter he wrote to top brass
requesting that all but the bare minimum (he said 10% ) of the sailors
on his boat be let off to prevent a brutal outbreak of COVID-19.

Reports about the sailors, the first aboard a ship on active duty to
test positive for COVID-19, first emerged last week, and the situation
has become a growing hot potato as the White House and Pentagon have
resisted allowing the sailors to disembark.

Similar to how Trump initially wanted to keep the passengers of the
'Diamond Princess' from leaving the ship, it's believed Trump pressured
the Pentagon not to let the sailors off because it would look bad for
the administration. There are 4,865 sailors on board, and

But Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly replied that he didn't
believe leaving only 10% behind would be appropriate. "Our plan has
always been to remove as much of the crew as we can while maintaining
for the ship's safety," he said. "This ship has weapons on it, it has
munitions on it, it has expensive aircraft, and it has a nuclear power
plant. It requires a certain number of people on that ship to maintain
the safety and security of the ship."

Even writing the request was probably out of line for Crozier, who
clearly felt obligated to act to stop his crew from being infected en
masse as part of a PR strategy. But the obvious leaking of the letter
was clearly a bridge too far.

"I recognize that there've been a lot of questions about the Teddy
Roosevelt, particularly over the last 24 hours," Modly said during a
recent Pentagon press conference. "We have accelerated testing and are
deep cleaning all the spaces on the ship. We are providing the
commanding officer what he has requested and we are doing our best to
accelerate the pace wherever we can."

Whispers about Crozier's imminent firing emerged shortly before the news
was confirmed. The firing has unleashed a torrent of criticism against
Trump, while others argued that in the military, following your
conscience often means losing your stripes.

Navy Captain Brett Crozier was removed from the USS Theodore
Roosevelt I'm sure because he wrote a letter to his superiors imploring
them for help. In my mind as a former Navy wife (husband USN/Ret) he's a
hero! #NavyHero
     — DoodleMom (@SnowflakePeg) April 2, 2020

It's unclear whether he will face any additional punishment.

says 2.5-10ml (=cc) of medicine in cup.

Thx again Peter, I’m already feeling better (6 nebulisings in) – but
still coughing last night and today, and still took several hours to get
to sleep.

Blessings,

T

(4) Don't have a Nebulizer? Try a bowl of boiling water and a towel over
your head

I read that if a person does not have a nebulizer that they could put
boiling water in a bowl and add a dropper full of iodine in the
boiling water and put a towel over their head and breathe in the
steam. Would this work?

Margaret,
I think there could be some benefit from that. I have not used that method.
DrB

Comment (Peter M.): You would preferably the kind for internal use,
which is aqueous iodine (5%). Anyone who tries it, please let me know
what you did, and the results. That method might work with Hydrogen
Peroxide too; let me know kind, quantity and results. Essential oils
too; let me know kinds, quantity and results. Please let me know how you
did it, the ingredients and quantities you added, and the results.

(5) People in India 'should use Neem and Turmeric for protection from
Covid-19'

(6) US Navy removes sailors from aircraft carrier, but sacks the
whistleblower, Capt. Brett Crozier

This is disgusting, the triumph of bureaucracy aka 'Deep State'. I am
sure that public opinion will demand his resinstatement; those who
sacked him should be removed instead. - Peter M.

The US role in NATO military exercises on the Russian border of the
Baltic states and Poland was scaled back to include only the 6,000
troops already dispatched to Europe, leaving 19,000 soldiers at their
bases in the US. ==

That's just not true." ==

In my mind as a former Navy wife (husband USN/Ret) he's a
hero! #NavyHero
