A Washington grandmother and florist of 40 years who refused to service
gay weddings because of her faith will now be forced to arrange flowers
for gay ceremonies, a judge ruled Wednesday. On top of that, the woman,
Barronelle Stutzman, will have to pay the legal penalties imposed by the
judge as well as attorney’s fees. Benton County Superior Court Judge
Alex Ekstrom ruled in a summary judgement that Stutzman violated
anti-discrimination and consumer protection laws.

Ekstrom ruled that the gay couple could collect penalties not just from
her business, but also from her personally, according to Alliance
Defending Freedom, the legal group that represented Stutzman. That means
she could lose her personal possessions and savings.

Stutzman refused to serve a gay couple in 2013 when they asked her to
arrange flowers for their wedding ceremony. The ACLU represented the
couple and took her to court.

“The message of these rulings is unmistakable: the government will bring
about your personal and professional ruin if you don’t help celebrate
same-sex marriage,” ADF Senior Counsel Kristen Waggoner, who argued
before the court in December,
<http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/8608> said in a statement. “The
two men had no problem getting the flowers they wanted. They received
several offers for free flowers, and the marketplace gives them plenty
of options. Laws that are supposed to prohibit discrimination might
sound good, but the government has begun to use these laws to hurt
people – to force them to conform and to silence and punish them if they
don’t violate their religious beliefs on marriage.”  ADF will appeal.

Anyone who criticises Sharia law or gay marriage could be branded an
“extremist” under sweeping new powers planned by the Conservatives to
combat terrorism, an alliance of leading atheists and Christians fear.

Theresa May, the Home Secretary, unveiled plans last month for so-called
Extremism Disruption Orders, which would allow judges to ban people
deemed extremists from broadcasting, protesting in certain places or
even posting messages on Facebook or Twitter without permission.

Mrs May outlined the proposal in a speech at the Tory party conference
in which she spoke about the threat from the so-called Islamic State –
also known as Isis and Isil – and the Nigerian Islamist movement Boko
Haram.

But George Osborne, the Chancellor, has made clear in a letter to
constituents that the aim of the orders would be to “eliminate extremism
in all its forms” and that they would be used to curtail the activities
of those who “spread hate but do not break laws”.

He explained that that the new orders, which will be in the Conservative
election manifesto, would extend to any activities that “justify hatred”
against people on the grounds of religion, sexual orientation, gender or
disability.

He also disclosed that anyone seeking to challenge such an order would
have to go the High Court, appealing on a point of law rather than fact.

The National Secular Society and the Christian institute – two
organisations with often diametrically opposing interests – said they
shared fears that the broad scope of extremism could represent a major
threat to free speech.

Keith Porteous Wood, director of the NSS, said secularists might have to
think twice before criticising Christianity or Islam. He said
secularists risk being branded Islamophobic and racist because of their
high profile campaigns against the advance of Sharia law in the UK.

“The Government should have every tool possible to tackle extremism and
terrorism, but there is a huge arsenal of laws already in place and a
much better case needs to be made for introducing draconian measures
such as Extremism Disruption Orders, which are almost unchallengeable
and deprive individuals of their liberties,” he said.

“Without precise legislative definitions, deciding what are ‘harmful
activities of extremist individuals who spread hate’ is subjective and
therefore open to abuse now or by any future authoritarian government.”

Simon Calvert, Deputy Director of the Christian Institute, said
traditionalist evangelicals who criticise gay marriage or even argue
that all religions are not the same could find themselves accused of
extremism.

“Anyone who expresses an opinion that isn’t regarded as totally
compliant with the Equality Act could find themselves ranked alongside
Anjem Choudary, Islamic state or Boko Haram,” he said.

He added: “How many times a day do intellectually lazy political
activists accuse their opponents of ‘spreading hatred’?

“The left does it, the right does it, liberals do it, conservatives do
it, it is routine.

“Hand a judge a file of a thousand Twitter postings accusing this
atheist or that evangelical of ‘spreading hatred’ and they could easily
rule that an EDO is needed.

“It’s a crazy idea – the Conservatives need to drop this like a hot brick.”

A Conservative spokesman said: "Freedom of expression and freedom of
speech are a vital part of a democratic society.

"In Government, Conservatives have always tried to strike the right
balance on freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, freedom to
manifest one’s religion, and the need to protect the public. We have
never sought to restrict peaceful protest or free speech, provided it is
within the law.

"Our proposal to introduce Extremism Disruption Orders reflects the need
to go further on challenging the threat from extremism and those who
spread their hateful views so that we can keep that democratic society
safe."

Campaigner hijacks £100,000 statue depicting two mixed-race single
mothers and their children as a 'typical family'

A bronze sculpture by Turner Prize-winning artist Gillian Wearing
unveiled outside the Library of Birmingham on Thursday was 'hijacked' by
a furious New Fathers For Justice campaigner over the weekend.

'A Real Birmingham Family' depicts a heavily pregnant Emma Jones, 27,
and her sister Roma, 29, hand-in-hand with their children Kyan, four,
and Shaye, five - but has drawn criticism because of the lack of any
adult male or father figure.

But Bobby Smith, 32, stuck photos of himself and his two young daughters
Ellie, seven, and Mollie, 10, onto the artwork and threw a sheet over
the other mother.

The father-of-two spent all of Saturday and today at the statue and said
the £100,000 sculpture suggests fathers are not an important part of
family life.

Mr Smith, who travelled from his home in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire,
for the protest, is a member of New Fathers For Justice, which campaigns
for greater rights for fathers when parents split. It is not associated
with Fathers4Justice or its founder Matt O'Connor.

He said: 'They've depicted the normal family with no fathers.

'There's nothing wrong with single mothers but this statue is saying one
person can do both jobs, and I believe kids are always better off with
both parents in their lives.

'This is a statue that is potentially going to be around for hundreds of
years and it's not a great thing to show young people.

'I thought I was going to get a lot of verbal abuse but people have been
so supportive - especially women.

'We engaged with hundreds of people, there were crowds of people
listening to my speeches during the day.

'It has sparked a lot of debate and a lot of women came up to me to say
they were against it.

'The people of Birmingham told me they felt they had been cheated.

'Birmingham is such a brilliant mixed-ethnicity area and I met so many
couples with children who should have been on that statue instead.'

Mr Smith, who is carrying out his two-day protest with fellow
campaigner, Carole Wheeler, 43, said their actions even gained support
from the statue's commissioner.

The HGV driver added: 'The police arrived and I thought they weren't
going to let me put the pictures on but they said it was fine.

'I told them it was just tape and I had done research about the statue
material and made sure it isn't going to do any damage.

'We only had to call the police back once when a woman tried to trip the
pictures off but other than that there was no trouble.

'A bloke came out of the library and said he was the one who
commissioned it and said he was glad I had come to show my
interpretation of the statue.'

Birmingham Yardley MP John Hemming has slammed the statue, saying:
'There's absolutely nothing wrong with single parent families but I
always find it sad when fathers are not involved in the lives of their
children.'

Craig Pickering, from the charity Families Need Fathers, added:
'Everybody knows that families can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes
but this interpretation of a family seems most bizarre.

'It is factually inaccurate and totally out of step.'

Sisters Emma and Roma Jones and their three children were chosen from
nearly 400 'real' families as the models for the statue.

He added: 'There's nothing wrong with single mothers but this statue is
saying one person can do both jobs, and I believe kids are always better
off with both parents in their lives'

But at the unveiling on Thursday, the pair refused to reveal details of
their unique family set-up which made a panel of judges pick them as
representing the city in the 21st Century.

Charity outreach worker Roma, mother to four-year-old Kyan, said: 'We
were interested in representing women, representing single parents and
also mixed race people, which are such a part of Birmingham.

'Because there isn't an adult male, we thought that would be an issue
and that's why possibly we wouldn't be chosen.'

Roma and Emma, mother to Shaye, five, and eight-month-old Isaac, were
raised by their single mother Karen Jones in a council house in Birmingham.

The sisters, who have two brothers Robin, 25, and Jay, 23, were
described as 'polite and well-brought up' by neighbours.

Birmingham-born artist Gillian Wearing's previous statue of a family
stands in Trento, Italy, and shows a mother, father and their two children.

Her new sculpture, which was commissioned by Birmingham's Ikon gallery,
was made in China and financed by a mixture of public money and private
donations.

Miss Wearing, who won the Turner Prize in 1997, said: 'A nuclear family
is one reality but it is one of many and this work celebrates the idea
that what constitutes a family should not be fixed.'

Why Jews Push Gay Marriage

By Brother Nathanael Kapner

April 1, 2013 @ 8:49 pm

The push is on.

With the Supreme Court Hearings last week on homosexual unions—and
Obama’s own endorsement—Jews are at the forefront in promoting ‘gay’
marriage.

Jewish leaders like billionaire’s Sheldon Adelson, Michael Bloomberg,
and Marc Stern of the American Jewish Committee, have all come out in
favor of what has traditionally been looked upon as sexual depravity.

Even Elena Kagan at the Supreme Court, yes, Jewish, an alleged lesbian
at that, is reportedly known for “queerifying Harvard” when Dean of the
Law School by introducing “transgender law courses”

Two Jewish groups in particular: The Anti-Defamation League, together
with the American Federation of Teachers, have been promoting the
homosexual agenda in our public schools.

Books like Daddy’s New Roommate, (Ken), Daddy’s Wedding, (Daddy marries
Ken), King and King, are part of the ADL’s Early Learning Program,
molding the minds of impressionable little children to accept and
embrace deviant sexual acts.

But Jews prefer sending their kids to private schools. It gives their
children better standing for admittance to Ivy-League colleges and
shields them from homosexual propaganda.

Believe me, for I grew up as a Jew, for a Jewish son or daughter to
announce to their parents that they are ‘gay’ is one of the worst things
that could ever happen.

You see, Jews look upon marriage for their own as sacrosanct, as
paramount for the perpetuity of the Jewish race.

[Clip: “I’m going to tell you the most important thing you have to
remember, about all that I learned in the world this is it, no matter
what happens you marry a Jewish girl.” [audience laughs] “That’s right,
your mother was right. You marry a Jewish boy. There’s nothing more
important in the whole than this. And there’s another reason you better
marry a Jewish girl. So you mother doesn’t break both your legs.”]

Indeed according to my own Jewish upbringing, there’s nothing ‘gay’
about two men having sex in each other’s rectums and two women using
dildos to imitate the act of procreation.

And we heard during the Sabbath Torah Readings the passage from
Leviticus, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, it is an
abomination, saith the Lord.”

Why then are Jews pushing gay marriage? It’s for the Goys, that’s why.

I’ll never forget the day that a ‘gay’ movie came to Brookline Mass.
with homosexual images plastered all over the marquee.

As I stood across the street in disgust, a Hasidic rabbi came walking by.

I pointed to the movie and said, “Isn’t it horrid that we’re assaulted
with these lewd images and titles?”

The rabbi laughed and scorned and said, “It’s for the Goys! Who cares!”

You see, Jews have no special love for queens, transvestites, and
cross-dressers. They look upon them as “dreck”…as repulsive.

But to dismantle a Christian culture in America that opposes Jewry,
that’s what the Jews are after.

Homosexuality is for the Goys! But the Regime is for the Jews.

How Ginsburg Pushes Gay Marriage

By Brother Nathanael Kapner

September 21, 2014

IF JEWS ARE OUR MISFORTUNE, then Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader
Ginsburg is Jewry’s chief architect of America’s woes.

In a clear violation of judicial protocol, Ginsburg told an audience at
the University of Minnesota Law School that if the Sixth District Court
of Appeals rules in favor of same-sex marriage, there will be “no need
for us to rush” on a decision on the definition of marriage.

“If however,” Ginsburg added, the Court that covers Kentucky, Michigan,
Ohio, and Tennessee “upholds” the centuries-old, natural definition of
marriage as one man and one woman, “there will be some urgency” to “step
in sooner.”

Liberty Counsel contends that Ginsburg violated the Judicial Code of
Conduct since judges are not to make public comments on pending cases
especially saying which way they would vote before hearing the merits of
the matter. Thus Ginsburg should recuse herself from all cases that
involve homosexual and lesbian marriages.

Mat Staver, head of Liberty Counsel, added that since Ginsburg has
officiated same-sex marriage ceremonies she consequently brings her own
personal experience to the bar which would compromise objective
adjudication.

Staver cites Canons 2 and 3 of the Judicial Code of Conduct which
explains that judges are not to allow outside influence to impact their
judgment nor to make public comment on the merits of a pending or
impending action.

“A judge should comply with the law and in a manner that promotes public
confidence in the impartiality of the judiciary, the code reads,” says
Staver. “A judge should not allow social and political relationships to
influence judicial conduct or judgment.”

But what Staver doesn’t get, (Liberty Counsel is a Zionist-christian,
Jew-loving legal lobby), is that Ginsburg is part of a “social and
political” alliance—JEWRY—that agitates for the destruction of the White
Christian family via homosexuality.

While Staver censures Jew judge Richard Posner of the 7th US Court of
Appeals for ruling that marriage between a man and a woman derives from
“a tradition of hate,” Staver fails to see that Posner—AS A JEW—assaults
the Biblical definition of marriage.

THE ONGOING ASSAULT on God’s creational design for the perpetuity of the
human race is a key component of Jewry’s dismantling of a White
Christian power bloc that would oppose the Jew’s role in forming
domestic policy and shaping our nation’s culture.

In a nation of sissies, fags, dykes, and queers, the Jew takes the upper
arm of control.

And while Jews like Ginsburg and Posner wreak more destruction on our
Jew-ruined nation….Zionist-christian dupes like Staver continue to
worship the Jewish beast.

The Plot To Make America Gay

By Brother Nathanael Kapner

Why has homosexuality come out of the closet into the living room of
American life?

Through a combination of Media, Hollywood, Lobbies, and Courts—all run
by Jews—sexual depravity is now touted as the ‘new normal.’

In fact, a sitcom called, “The New Normal,” features perverted bedroom
scenes and homosexual propaganda targeting American youth.

And shows like “Modern Family” and “Faking It” continue the endless
onslaught of sexual perversion.

Jewish Hollywood also spreads the ‘great to be gay’ message with movies
like “Brokeback Mountain” and “Adam and Steve.”

But it’s not just on our screens, it’s on our streets with ‘Gay Pride
Parades’—egged on by the Jewish-owned Media—over-running the ‘real normal.’

Topping the plot to make America ‘gay’ are powerful Jewish Lobbies.

Behind the Boy Scouts lifting its ban on homosexuals were the National
Jewish Committee on Scouting and the United Synagogue of Conservative
Judaism.

And the Anti-Defamation League has unleashed in tandem with the American
Federation of Teachers a flood of homosexual books placed before the
eyes of impressionable young children in our public schools.

The goal is to dismantle a Christian consensus in America.

For where no shared-values are present a Jewish worldview takes over.

But the most sinister of Jewish influence is what’s happening in our courts.

Same-sex practice was force-fed all the way up to the Supreme Court by
the ACLU when Donna Lieberman represented two Jewish lesbians, Edith
Windsor and Thea Spyer.

The case resulted in four Jews on America’s highest bench: Ginsburg,
Kagan, Breyer, and Sotomayor, striking down the “Defense of Marriage Act.”

Recently, the same four Jews refused to uphold bans on same-sex marriage
by the states.

Whether its Media, Hollywood, Lobbies, or the Courts, the Jewish plot to
make America gay is at our very doors.

(7) Gay Marriage Or States Rights?

http://www.realjewnews.com/?p=1014

March 11, 2015 @ 8:19 pm

By Brother Nathanael Kapner

It’s coming down to the wire.

In April, the Supreme Court decides if states have the right to ban
same-sex marriage.

If the court denies that right then “States Rights” are over forever and
only a federal ruling class will henceforth decide what states and
individuals of those states can and cannot do.

With four Jews on the highest bench holding a pro-same-sex stance, the
death of liberty is only one month away.

Does the 14th Amendment which guarantees ‘equal protection’ forbid
states from treating homosexual couples differently than heterosexual ones?

Does discriminating against homosexual couples have as its main
component, ‘animus,’ that is, ‘bearing malice,’ toward homosexuals?

This is how the debate is being spun by the legal apparatus who’ve
turned the Constitution into a ‘living Constitution’ far from the
original intent of the Founding Fathers.

An evolving, I mean, mutating ‘living Constitution’ is not even law at
all. It’s silly putty in the hands of Jewish judges to impose their will
on the rest of us.

For instance, Judge Richard Posner recently ruled that restricting who
can marry derives from a “tradition of hate.”

Following Posner, Judge Dale Cohen of Florida overturned the state’s ban
on sodomite marriages citing the 14th Amendment.

But Congress passed the 14th Amendment after the Civil War to grant
citizenship to former slaves. It has nothing to do with homosexuals.

The Founding Fathers considered sodomy and same-sex relations as morally
repugnant crimes.

That’s why the Thirteen States adopted British sodomy laws which carried
the death penalty.

But this is not what the debate is about. It’s not a “14th Amendment”
debate. It’s not an ‘animus’ debate. It’s a States Rights issue. Period.

What people do in private will have repercussions for them.

You want to be a homosexual, go ahead. But don’t override States Rights,
our last shelter of freedom.

Come April, “States Rights” is about to be sodomized forever.

(8) Businesses back gay marriage, top U.S. court sets argument date

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/03/05/us-usa-court-gaymarriage-idUSKBN0M11TG20150305

By Lawrence Hurley

WASHINGTON Thu Mar 5, 2015 5:42pm EST

Supporters of same-sex marriage hold a rainbow flag and a rainbow
umbrella outside Jefferson County Courthouse in Birmingham, Alabama
February 9, 2015.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Big business rallied behind the gay marriage
cause on Thursday as the U.S. Supreme Court scheduled oral arguments for
April 28 on the contentious social issue that promises to yield one of
the justices' most important rulings of 2015.

A total of 379 businesses and groups representing employers across
various sectors, including Google Inc, American Airlines Group Inc,
Goldman Sachs Group Inc and Johnson & Johnson, have signed on to a
friend-of-the-court brief in support of gay marriage that was filed on
Thursday.

Various supporters of gay marriage are filing similar briefs ahead of a
Friday deadline. One was filed on behalf of dozens of prominent
conservatives, including former Republican National Committee Chairman
Ken Mehlman and David Koch, one of the billionaire Koch brothers known
for donating to right-leaning political causes.

The brief says that "conservative values are consistent with - indeed,
are advanced by - affording civil marriage rights to same-sex couples."

The administration of President Barack Obama is also due to file a brief
backing gay marriage.

The court must decide whether states have the right to ban gay marriage.
The nine justices will hear an extended 2-1/2-hour argument in cases
concerning same-sex marriage bans in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee.

The justices will consider whether same-sex marriage bans are prohibited
by the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of equal protection under the law.
A ruling is due by the end of June.

There are currently 37 states where gay marriage has been allowed to
proceed, although a legal battle is ongoing in Alabama, with the state's
top court putting it on hold.

The Supreme Court cases come two years after the high court set off a
wave of pro-gay marriage rulings by invalidating a federal law that
restricted benefits to heterosexual couples.

At the time of that June 2013 ruling, only 12 of the 50 states permitted
gay marriage.

Businesses also backed gay marriage advocates in the previous Supreme
Court case.

In the new brief, lawyers with the Morgan Lewis law firm said that
inconsistent state laws impose burdens on business and that marriage
bans can conflict with corporate anti-discrimination and diversity policies.

"Allowing same-sex couples to marry improves employee morale and
productivity, reduces uncertainty, and removes the wasteful
administrative burdens imposed by the current disparity of state law
treatment," the brief says.

Thomson Reuters Corp, which owns Reuters news, also signed on to the brief.
