Andrew Adler, owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, recently
suggested that Mossad "Order a hit on a president" in order to obtain a
successor who would help Israel obliterate Iran.

The Jewish Lobby - ADL, the American Jewish Committee - was quick to
distance itself from Adler, not wanting to be tarred with the
"Terrorist" brush.

Nevertheless, as the Haaretz article by Chemi Shalev argues (item 4),
Adler's views did not arise in isolation.  He's part of a network of
extremist Jews and their supporters.

Yitzhak Rabin was killed for a similar reason and by a similar
ideologue; so such threats should not be glossed over.

Michael Collins Piper alleges that JFK was killed in a like manner -
because he was blocking Israel's development of  nuclear-weapons at
Dimona. Piper sets out the case in his book Final Judgment:
http://www.amazon.com/Final-Judgment-Missing-Assassination-Conspiracy/dp/0935036539

Buy it here:
http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=piper&tn=Final+Judgment

Lyndon Johnson turned a blind eye to Dimona, and even covered up
Israel's attack on the USS Liberty.

The United States now has the most draconian "anti-Hate" and
"anti-Terrorist" laws in its history. Yet seemingly these do not apply
in cases of incitement committed by Zionists. Are they only directed at
Moslems and Christians? At opponents of Immigration and the Gay lobby?

Why not make an example of Andrew Adler, to show that there's one law
for all?

Don't let him off with a 'Mental Illness' assessment from a
Psychiatrist. That would be a cowardly cop-out.

Chemi Shalev writes (item 4), "Under Israeli law, Adler could be
prosecuted for inciting to violence and could be sentenced to five years
in jail".

Let's see some speedy action.  There's no need for indecision on behalf
of the FBI & CIA - Adler's original newspaper article (which can be
viewed in item 3) is sufficient reason to indict him.

If his lawyers want to plead insanity, let them do it in court, in the
full glaze of publicity this case deserves.

Assassination

Newspaper Editor: Israel Should Consider Assassinating Obama [UPDATE]

Andrew Adler, the owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, a
weekly newspaper serving Atlanta's Jewish community, devoted his January
13, 2012 column to the thorny problem of the U.S. and Israel's diverging
views on the threat posed by Iran. Basically Israel has three options,
he wrote: Strike Hezbollah and Hamas, strike Iran, or "order a hit" on
Barack Obama. Either way, problem solved!

Here's how Adler laid out "option three" in his list of scenarios facing
Israeli president Benjamin Netanyahu (the column, which was forwarded to
us by a tipster, isn't online, but you can read a copy here):

{quote}
Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a
president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice
president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United
States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.

Yes, you read "three" correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to
preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this
Tom Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this almost unfathomable
idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?

Another way of putting "three" in perspective goes something like this:
How far would you go to save a nation comprised of seven million
lives...Jews, Christians and Arabs alike?

You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table.
{end}

It's hard to tell whether or not Adler is just some crank. But the
Atlanta Jewish Times, which he purchased in 2009, appears to be a real
community newspaper. It was founded in 1925 and, according to Wikipedia,
claims a circulation of 3,500 and staff of five. To judge from its web
site, it's a going concern.

A nervous Adler told me over the phone that he wasn't advocating Obama's
assassination by Mossad agents. "Of course not," he said.

But do you think Israel should consider it an option? "No."

But do you believe that Israel is in fact considering the option in its
most inner circles? "No. Actually, no. I was hoping to make clear that
it's unspeakable—god forbid this would ever happen. I take it you're
quoting me?"

Yes. "Oh, boy."

When I asked Adler why, if he didn't advocate assassination and didn't
believe Israel was actually considering it, he wrote a column saying he
believed that the option was "on the table," he asked for a minute to
compose himself and call me back. He did a few moments later, and said,
"I wrote it to see what kind of reaction I was going to get from readers."

And what was the reaction? "We've gotten a lot of calls and emails."

Nothing from the Secret Service, though. Yet.

UPDATE: Adler has told JTA that he "regrets" the column and plans to
publish an apology. Oh, and the Secret Service says it will "make all
appropriate, investigative follow-up in regard to this matter,"
according to ABC News.

Uproar after Jewish American newspaper publisher suggests Israel
assassinate Barack Obama

Op-ed in Atlanta Jewish Times says the slaying of the president may be
an effective way to thwart Iran's nuclear program.

By Chemi Shalev

NEW YORK - The owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, Andrew
Adler, has suggested that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu
consider ordering a Mossad hit team to assassinate U.S. President Barack
Obama so that his successor will defend Israel against Iran.

Adler, who has since apologized for his article, listed three options
for Israel to counter Iran's nuclear weapons in an article published in
his newspaper last Friday. The first is to launch a pre-emptive strike
against Hamas and Hezbollah, the second is to attack Iran's nuclear
facilities and the third is to "give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad
agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for
the current vice president to take his place and forcefully dictate that
the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state
obliterate its enemies."

Adler goes on to write: "Yes, you read "three correctly." Order a hit on
a president in order to preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If
have thought of this Tom-Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this
almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?"

Adler apologized yesterday for the article, saying "I very much regret
it; I wish I hadn't made reference to it at all," Adler told the Jewish
Telegraphic Agency. And in an interview with Gawker.com, Adler denied
that he was advocating an assassination of Obama.

{end}

The American Jewish Committee in Atlanta last night issued a harsh
condemnation of Adler's article, saying that his proposals are "shocking
beyond belief."

"While we acknowledge Mr. Adler's apology, we are flabbergasted that he
could ever say such a thing in the first place. How could he even
conceive of such a twisted idea?" said Dov Wilker, director of AJC
Atlanta. "Mr. Adler surely owes immediate apologies to President Obama,
as well as to the State of Israel and his readership, the Atlanta Jewish
community."

Abraham Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, also
blasted Adler on Friday, saying "There is absolutely no excuse, no
justification, no rationalization for this kind of rhetoric. It doesn't
even belong in fiction. These are irresponsible and extremist words. It
is outrageous and beyond the pale. An apology cannot possibly repair the
damage. Irresponsible rhetoric metastasizes into more dangerous
rhetoric. The ideas expressed in Mr. Adler's column reflect some of the
extremist rhetoric that unfortunately exists -- even in some segments of
our community -- that maliciously labels President Obama as an 'enemy of
the Jewish people.' Mr. Adler's lack of judgment as a publisher, editor
and columnist raises serious questions as to whether he's fit to run a
newspaper."

(4) Andrew Adler's hatred is shared by many, especially Jews - Chemi

Jewish publisher is an idiot - but his hatred is shared by many

Andrew Adler's suggestion in the Atlanta Jewish Times that Israel
assassinate President Obama is a blot both on Israel and on American Jews.

By Chemi Shalev

Latest update 14:03 21.01.12

Like most of you, I have never met Andrew B. Adler, owner and publisher
of the Atlanta Jewish Times, but I think we can all agree that the man
is spectacularly stupid. In his contorted apologies he has described
himself, after all, as "an idiot."

The three or four infantile paragraphs of vile text that Adler published
in his obscure Atlanta newspaper last week, in which he suggested that
Israel consider assassinating President Obama, almost slipped under the
radar, but was picked up yesterday by Gawker.com, and is now going
viral. "A fool may throw a stone into a well which even a hundred wise
men cannot pull out", the saying goes, and it will indeed take a long
time and a great effort to undo the damage that Adler has wrought, in
one fell swoop, in defaming Israel by implying that it might, in
anyone's wildest dreams, consider such a kooky conspiracy; in staining
American Jews by appearing to supposedly represent their twisted way of
thinking; and even by undermining the institution of Jewish journalism
by exposing that it harbors such birdbrained bozos in its midst.

It is ironic that Adler's despicable diatribe comes against the backdrop
of a fierce blogosphere debate that flared up yesterday about the term
"Israel-firsters" and whether it is a legitimate critique or an
anti-Semitic slur. Adler, for his part, has provided an example of a
sub-specie of "Israel-firsters" that have not only lost track of where
their loyalties lie, they have gone off the tracks altogether. He has
pleased anti-Zionists and delighted anti-Semites by giving them the kind
of "proof" they relish for accusing American supporters of Israel not of
"double loyalty" but of one-sided treachery, plain and simple.

{end}

Under Israeli law, Adler could be prosecuted for inciting to violence
and could be sentenced to five years in jail. I do not purport to know
much about the Georgian penal code, but I note that it contains the
offense of "criminal solicitation" which occurs "when, with intent that
another person engage in conduct constituting a felony, he solicits,
requests, commands, importunes, or otherwise attempts to cause the other
person to engage in such conduct." Adler's column of January 13 might
arguably fit the bill.

There is something eerily familiar in all this, of course, for anyone
who was present 16 years ago at Tel Aviv's Kikar Malchei Yisrael, as it
was then known, on the night that Yitzhak Rabin was murdered. One can
already envisage how Adler will be disowned, described as a "wild weed,"
depicted as a lone wolf who does not represent anyone in his or in
anyone else's community and used as a springboard for a righteously
indignant, preemptive counteroffensive that will show how his solitary
case is being exploited to score points against anyone who legitimately
criticizes Obama.

And while we might all stipulate that there is no Jew anywhere in the
world who is currently contemplating any act of violence against
President Obama, I know, and most of you know, that Adler's crazy and
criminal suggestions are not the ranting of some loony-tune individual
and were not taken out of thin air - but are the inevitable result of
the inordinate volume of repugnant venom that some of Obama's political
rivals, Jews and non-Jews included, have been spewing for the last three
years.

Anyone who has spent any time talking to some of the more vociferous
detractors of Obama, Jewish or otherwise, has inevitably encountered
those nasty nutters, and they are many, who still believe he is a
Muslim, who are utterly convinced that he wants to destroy Israel, and
who seriously debate whether he is more like Ahmadinejad than Arafat or
– and I heard this one with my own ears – more like Hitler than Haman.

Anyone who reads some of the opinion articles and blogs posted on the
Internet by the more extreme Obama-hating writers and pundits – again,
many of them Jews - cannot deny the wanton and inflammatory nature of
much of their anti-Obama invective.

And anyone who lived through the Israeli right-wing's days of rage
against Rabin and the Oslo Accords can never forget that this deluge of
deadly toxins need trigger just one homicidal chemical reaction in just
one fanatic brain for history to be changed forever.

The book of Deuteronomy commands the elders of the city nearest a field
where a murdered corpse has been found to wash their hands over an axed
heifer and to swear, "our hands have not spilled this blood and our eyes
did not see." Rashi explains that even though it is clear that they had
nothing to do with the murder, the responsibility of the leaders is such
that they will be held liable even if they simply denied the victim food
or escort.

One wonders how many of today's anti-Obama politicians and
opinion-makers, the latter-day elders of yore, will be able to read
Adler's crazed counsel to Benjamin Netanyahu, and, may that day never
come, take a good look in the mirror, wash their hands of the whole
affair and declare with a clear conscience that their otherwise sharp
and probing eyes didn't see a thing.

The Secret Service said it is looking into a recent op-ed from an
Atlanta publisher that floated the idea of green-lighting Israeli Mossad
agents to assassinate President Obama in order to improve Israel's
security against enemies like Iran.

The publisher and author, Andrew Adler, reportedly has apologized.

But Jewish advocacy groups condemned his comments as "outrageous," and
Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie said the agency is "aware" of
the incident.

"We're conducting the appropriate investigative steps," he told
FoxNews.com.

Ogilvie would not comment on whether Adler has been contacted or whether
his column was deemed a potential threat to the president. ...

The website Gawker first reported, and posted, the column.

Can you imagine if this newspaper were the Atlanta Muslim Times, or the
Atlanta Arab News?   The FBI would be raiding the office within seconds.
The Editor would be held for treason.  Every person on the staff would
be arrested, the newspaper shut down, the building that housed the
office would be demolished, and every American news outlet would have
this as their leading story.  But since this is a Jewish newspaper, the
editor gets off scot-free.  There is no FBI raid, there is no arrests,
no shut down, no office building demolished, and not one word in the
American media.  You have to go to the Israeli media to get the story.
This is what's called in America as the "Jewish Double Standard."

Atlanta Jewish Times publisher resigns over Obama assassination column

http://www.jta.org/news/article/2012/01/23/3091312/atlanta-jewish-times-publisher-resigns-over-obama-assassination-column

(JTA) -- The owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times has
resigned and is seeking a buyer in the wake of a column he wrote
speculating that Israel would consider assassinating President Obama.

Andrew Adler, in an email obtained by JTA, announced Monday that he is
"relinquishing all day-to-day activities effective immediately"
following the publishing of his opinion piece saying that Obama's
assassination was among Israel's options in heading off a nuclear Iran.

Adler named staff writer John McCurdy as interim managing editor until a
replacement can be found. Adler said he would publish an apology in his
next edition and that reaction from readers had been overwhelmingly
negative.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta said earlier Monday that it
would suspend its relationship with the Atlanta Jewish Times until Adler
removed himself from the newspaper's operations. The federation also
called on Adler to sell the weekly.

"While we acknowledge his public apology and remorse, the damage done to
the people of Israel, the global Jewish people, and especially the
Jewish Community of Atlanta is irreparable," the Atlanta federation said
in a statement issued Monday to constituent groups.

In a Jan. 13 column, Adler outlined what he said were three possible
responses by Israel to Iran's acquiring a nuclear weapon: a pre-emptive
strike against Hamas and Hezbollah, terrorist groups that he said would
be emboldened by a nuclear Iran; a direct strike on Iran; and "three,
give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president
deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to
take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States policy
includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies."

He continued, "Yes, you read 'three' correctly. Order a hit on a
president in order to preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If I
have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this
almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?

The Anti-Defamation League and the National Jewish Democratic Council
also condemned Adler for his column. David Harris, executive director of
the American Jewish Committee, also called on Adler to resign from the
newspaper.

CNN reported that the Secret Service is investigating Adler over the column.

(8) Definition of a terrorism supporter has become elastic. Once

Creating American Terrorists

by Philip Giraldi

Thursday, 19 January 2012 16:38

Defenders of the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act,
which declares the entire world to be a "battlefield" against terrorism
and authorizes the U.S. military to detain indefinitely anyone suspected
of being a terrorism supporter, have claimed that the White House will
only use its new power carefully and with due process. ...

So let us accept that the government now has the power to send a team of
military police to anyone's home in any state in the Union and can
demand that that person surrender without any recourse to a lawyer or
judicial due process. ... Once in detention, the suspect only has such
options as are granted to him by the military. He cannot see a lawyer,
cannot invoke habeas corpus or other constitutional privileges, cannot
confront any witnesses against him, and cannot challenge any information
prejudicial to him even if it is hearsay or fabricated. In other words,
the accused can be arrested for no reason and held indefinitely without
any protections that enable him to push back against being detained.
Most people would consider a criminal justice system that permits such
detention ipso facto a police state.

Now let us accept for a moment that the White House and Justice
Department are well-intentioned and will not use their newfound
authority to detain anyone in a questionable fashion. The expanded
powers will only be used to detain foreign terrorists who are caught in
flagrante, more or less. That would be fine, perhaps, but for one small
problem. Because the definition of a terrorism supporter has become
enormously elastic, it can be stretched to include anything. If the
whole world has become a battlefield, speaking out or acting against
powerful vested interests can be dangerous because those interests can
turn around and exploit the system to label one a terrorist. And once
you are labeled a terrorist, your constitutional rights vanish and you
might as well sit around and wait for that knock on the door — or,
rather, for the door to be kicked in.

That is what House Resolution 3131 is all about. It is titled, in part,
"To direct the secretary of state to submit a report on whether any
support organization that participated in the planning or execution of
the recent Gaza flotilla attempt should be designated as a foreign
terrorist organization…." The bill then goes on to assert that the two
flotillas in 2010 and 2011 opposing Israel's blockade of Gaza were
terrorist actions. But the only problem is that it relies on information
from the Israeli Intelligence and Information Center to do so, meaning
that Congress is deferring to a foreign government organization to make
a judgment that directly impacts that selfsame government. And the
Israelis are not shy about calling someone a terrorist, if it suits the
narrative they are trying to present. They describe a Turkish
organization involved in the first flotilla in 2010, known by its
acronym IHH, as linked to al-Qaeda and Hamas based on evidence that no
one else in the world accepts, apart from Congress, that is. The Turkish
vessel Mavi Marmara was clearly aiming to take on the Israeli navy,
armed to the teeth with "100 metal rods, 200 knives, 50 wooden clubs,
and a telescopic sight for a gun." In reality, the rods were torn from
the ships rails when the heavily armed Israeli commandos boarded at
night from helicopters. The knives were pocket knives and utility knives
from the vessel's galley, and the clubs were broken from deck chairs to
repel the attackers. I will not speculate on the telescopic sight, but
there was not a real weapon anywhere on board. The Israelis killed nine
Turks, shooting several in the head at close range, including an
American citizen. Congress has yet to express its outrage at the Israeli
action — quite the contrary — and Hillary Clinton's State Department has
been silent, apart from warning the subsequent 2011 flotilla that the
American embassy would do nothing to protect U.S. citizens aboard.

Regarding the second flotilla of July 2011, HR 3131 goes on to state
that "Greek authorities boarded ships and took into custody several
individuals, including Captain John Klusmire of the ship Audacity of
Hope as it violated Greek Coast Guard orders by setting sail without
permission." Klusmire is a U.S. citizen who was not breaking any
American law, it should be noted. He was later released by the Greek
authorities.

The bill concludes with its "Sense of Congress," surely an oxymoron if
there ever was one: "the secretary of state shall submit … a report on
whether any support organization that participated in the planning or
execution of the recent Gaza flotilla attempt should be designated as a
foreign terrorist organization … [to] include information on … the
sources of any logistical, technical, or financial support for the Gaza
flotilla ships, including the Audacity of Hope, that were to set sail
from Greece on July 1, 2011."

I personally know a number of organizations that provided material or
financial support to one or both of the Gaza flotillas. I also
personally know that none of those organizations support violence
against the state of Israel and that the people behind them believed
then and now that they were exercising their constitutional rights in
speaking out and acting nonviolently against what they and most of the
world regard as an illegal and immoral blockade of Gaza. But, if the
bill passes in Congress, a bureaucrat in the U.S. Department of State
will now be able to call those people and their associated groups
"terrorists," and Hillary Clinton will be able to confirm that judgment
to Congress. Next step is the MPs at the door.

If people cannot see what a slippery slope all of this is, they not
thinking very clearly. HR 3131 is admittedly still sitting in
congressional committee, but it has some very powerful sponsors,
including Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida, who heads the Foreign Affairs
Committee and is a rabid supporter of Israel. The bill not only indicts
whole groups of people exercising their constitutional rights and labels
them "terrorists," it even names one American who was, at the time,
breaking no U.S. law. Klusmire's only crime was to "set sail without
permission" — in Greece. It was clearly a bogus charge manufactured to
suit by a vulnerable Greek government desperately needing international
loans and under pressure from the United States and Israel.

Klusmire's real crime was to oppose a powerful interest group, the
Israel Lobby. To do so these days is to invite a charge of terrorism
support with the option of being arrested by the Pentagon and locked up
somewhere at the pleasure of the president of the United States. How low
have we sunk, Mr. Obama? You portray yourself as a man of honor and a
defender of constitutionalism, but you have opened the gates to
lawlessness and authoritarian rule. And even if you are as benign as you
depict yourself, you have provided the legal tools for those who might
follow you — the Gingriches, the Perrys, the Bachmanns, and the
Santorums — to possibly do much, much worse.

Apparently, one of the hot fashion items this season in the far-right
Israeli yeshiva culture is a sweatshirt sold by students at the Ateret
Cohamin yeshiva which calls for the destruction of the Dome of the Rock.
The sweatshirt, a picture of which is displayed here, says in literal
Hebrew:

Sometimes you have to take off the kippah.

Kippah can mean either yarmulke or "dome," hence the double meaning.
This "wit" passes for political commentary in the Jewish terror crowd.
Ateret Cohanim is the settler extremist group which is fraudulently
"buying" East Jerusalem Palestinian property, evicting residents, and
installing kosher Jewish settlers in their place as part of the
orchestrated campaign to rid the city of Arabs. It also is training
potential High Priests who can resume the sacrificial ritual of the Holy
Temple once it is rebuilt, and presumably the Dome of the Rock
destroyed. The sweats have been sold since at least 2007 according to
messages posted at far-right message boards.

Imagine if Fatah youth sported sweatshirts calling for blowing up the
Western Wall. How would that be received? I haven't heard a peep from
Itamar Marcus and his boys at Palestine Media Watch about this latest
form of religious incitement against Palestinian holy places. I wonder why?

Former JDL leader and current New York Democratic powerhouse Dov Hikind
is closely identified with Ateret Cohanim, as his wife is the paid
fundraiser for the American affiliate. Last year, they brought former
Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on a pilgrimage to
Jerusalem to endorse their efforts, where he also joined Irving
Moskowitz at the recently stolen Shepherd Hotel property.

Who's Behind The Military Detention Act?

By Brother Nathanael Kapner

Barack Hussein Obama ushered in the New Year by signing the National
Defense Authorization Act, and thus trashed the Constitution and our
Bill of Rights once and for all.

While our Founding Fathers are turning in their graves, who wished to
protect us from the unlawful use of the military from intruding upon
civilian life, the Act grants to the U.S. military the power to arrest –
WITHOUT CHARGES…WITHOUT TRIAL…and WITHOUT END – any American citizen
simply suspected of engaging in "terrorist" acts.

The sponsor of the Bill is Jewish Senator Carl Levin, head of the Senate
Armed Services Committee, a very powerful chair where perhaps a conflict
of interests exists between those of the powerful Jewish Lobby and those
of our once-free America.

When challenged with regard to U.S. citizens being denied their
constitutional rights via the Act, Levin went on the defensive and
blamed Obama, while at the same time, ALLOWED Obama's demands. Now
listen closely.

[Clip: "The administration asked us to remove the language which says
that U.S. citizens and lawful residents would not be subject to this
section. And that we removed it at the request of the administration."

Yes indeed, Levin REMOVED the language that PROTECTED us from military
arrest, indefinite detention, and probable torture. Levin IS culpable
and should be tried for treason.

Senator Levin's co-religionist, Talmudic Jew, Senator Joseph Lieberman,
head of Homeland Security, is apparently is more than happy to see
"suspects" not only apprehended by the military but TORTURED as well.

[Clip: "When a member of al-Qaeda or a similar associated terrorist
group is captured, I want that person to be terrified about what's going
to happen to them in American custody. I want them not to know what's
going to happen. I want that terror that they inflict on others to be
felt by them."

"Uncertainty" regarding what a "suspect" can "expect" when indefinitely
detained? This is scary stuff my friends.

And EVEN MORE 'uncertainty' is attested by Lieberman's pending new
legislation of whether or not exercising our right to free speech will
find us all hauled off to Guantanamo Bay—Gitmo—subject to military
rendition…I mean torture.

You see, Lieberman recently introduced his Enemy Expatriation Act which
would strip Americans of their citizenship when only suspected of
"engaging in hostilities" against the U.S. and its allies.

Say something critical about Zionist-controlled America or Europe and
you're in BIG trouble.

[Clip: "If an American citizen is shown to be…have joined and worked
with a foreign terrorist organization, as far as I'm concerned you
should lose your right to citizenship. This is not just going to be Joe
Lieberman sitting in a room somewhere saying, 'You're an enemy of the
United States, you lose your citizenship."

EXACTLY.

It's NOT "JUST" going to be Lieberman "sitting in a room deciding" who's
an enemy, but apparently his co-religionists – Diane Feinstein, head of
the Senate Intelligence Committee, and Daniel Benjamin, head of Counter
Terrorism at the U.S. State Department – who will be making the fatal
determinations.

My fellow Americans, I have given you fair warning.

When a squad of U.S. soldiers show up at your door to haul you away for
…well they DON'T have to produce any charges…then at least you'll KNOW
just WHO's behind the Jewish Police State coming to a military "theatre"
near you!

(11) Hidden censorship of Media, Email and Websites - Peter Myers,
January 25, 2012

There are about 450 recipients of this newsletter; of them, 79 are
BLOCKED (that I know of). Every bulletin to those 79 addresses bounces,
because I am on some "Spam" database. It does not matter which address I
send from; the effect is the same.

All the blocking ISPs are in the US. They are Hotmail and MSN (both
owned by Microsoft), Att.net, Bellsouth, Sbcglobal, Comcast, Prodigy and
Ameritech (all owned by AT & T), and Road Runner (including rr.com).

Persons with accounts at these ISPs probably do not realize that many
emails (not only from me) are not reaching them. It's as if the Post
Office opened your mail, and discarded some, before giving it to you.

Google, Yahoo, and ISPs in the rest of the world ignore those particular
"Spam" databases.

It's easy to get ON a Spam Database, but hard to get OFF.

Obviously not all "Spam" databases are the same. Some are genuine, and
some provide means of blocking people you don't like. It's a hidden form
of censorship.

I regularly check for emails in the Spam folder. Sometimes I find
genuine emails there, from people I know. In such cases it's best to
click the "Not Spam" button - this may cause future emails from them to
be delivered to the Inbox.

Recently I found an email from Ellen Brown in the Spam folder. This
means that she is on a Spam database somewhere. Quite possibly, many of
her readers are not receiving her emails on banking.

In the case of the SOPA/PIPA legislation, which led to the 24-hour
blackout of Wikipedia, the actual EFFECT of the legistation would have
been far different from the stated intention (ie to stop piracy). The
bona fide reason becomes an excuse to piggyback extra clauses and goals
onto the bill, such that it would force ISPs to shut numerous websites,
to protect themselves from possible litigation.

Merely POSSIBLE litigation - the mere threat of it would be a sword
hanging over the ISPs' head. And to protect themselves, they would have
had to shut any website they could not be sure was "safe".

The historical drama The Promise has NOT been screened on TV in the US.
Despite there being more TV channels there than anywhere else! Amazing,
isn't it!

Some readers have reported Warning Messages attached to my newsletter or
to individual pages of my website. Detailed feedback on such is
important to me. Similarly, there was a report of a Virus Warning
attached to a website dealing with The Promise.

(12) The Promise has not been screened on TV in the US

drama The Promise

Out of curiosity, I decided to see if The Promise had been screened in
the US. When I clicked on the link where Peter Kosminsky is said to
refute hysteria, I received the following pop-up warning: "Warning! It
appears that you are about to access a website that has non-standard web
address format. Such sites may contain harmful entities such as viruses.
We recommend you use extreme caution." The only comment about US
screening was on a Wikipedia site; it stated that a screening of the
series was presented at the JCC in Manhatten, N.Y. November-December
2011 with the first part shown as part of the "Other Israel" film
festival and the remainder of the three weekly episodes over the
following three weeks. I also came across a comment that Wikipedia had
"condemned" The Promise and cautioned that Wikipedia was quite biased in
its analysis.

So, it appears that The Promise was screened by a Jewish group and that
was probably the end of its exposure. I doubt that American activists
have even heard of the series. And if they even tried to research the
subject, they would be blocked by warnings that Kominsky's website was
too dangerous to enter. We do not have free speech here, particularly
about anyhing Jewish.

(13) There is never any news here about the Palestinian problem

Just a short foot note about media in America. There is never any news
here about the Palestinian problem. While some people may have a vague
idea about troubles there, I don't think that they have any idea of just
how serious the situation is. And when Vannu exposed Israel's secret
nuclear arsenal, this was aired on a program in the UK, but we never saw
it here. I think that American Universities are becoming sensitive to
the problem; but your average American citizen is not. While there may
be occasional criticism of Israel, it is overshadowed by the reminder
that Israel is our ally. I get so sick of hearing it. I think the Jews
own us somehow. While the Promise was screened by an American Jewish
group last year, you can be sure that series will never be shown on TV.
As far as DVD sales go, I am less sure that this will be approved, but
again my guess is that it will not. I believe that news here is much
more censored than in the UK and Australia

(14) Pink Ribbon warning on your last bulletin (about The Promise)

From: Ann <Jither@myfairpoint.net> Date: 23 January 2012 02:13

Your bulletin, “Lobby seeking to halt screening and DVD sales of
historical drama The Promise” was accompanied by a pink ribbon warning
at the very top, stating,

“This might be a phishing message and is potentially unsafe. Links and
other functionality have been disabled. Click here to enable
functionality (not recommended). Extra line breaks in the message were
removed.”

Apparently only certain censors are holy.

(15) TV series "The Promise" akin to Nazi propaganda

JOSHUA LEVI

JANUARY 13, 2012

"INSIDIOUS", "racist" and "a landmark in the creeping rehabilitation of
anti-Semitism in Western culture".

These are just some of the terms used to describe The Promise in a
20-page letter of complaint submitted this week to the SBS ombudsman by
the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ).

Amid fears the broadcaster may re-screen the controversial TV series
this year, and with the broadcaster now offering the DVD of the drama
for sale, ECAJ claims the four-part serial is "in direct violation" of
SBS's own codes on prejudice, racism and discrimination and, further, is
a manifestation of anti-Semitism as defined by the international community.

According to the letter, the series (which screened late last year)
"consistently casts Jews in a negative light" so as "to demean Jews as a
group".

"They are cast as variously cruel, violent, hateful, ruthless,
unfeeling, amoral, treacherous, racist and/or hypocritical," said ECAJ
executive director Peter Wertheim.

Meanwhile, he adds, its distorted and unbalanced presentation of the
establishment of the State of Israel falls within the internationally
accepted working definition of anti-Semitism, "claiming that the
existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavour" and "drawing
comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis".

"The Promise unrelentingly portrays the entire Jewish presence
throughout the country … as an act of usurpation by Jews who, without
exception, are aliens, predators and thieves and who enforce their
usurpation by brutal, racist policies akin to those inflicted by the
Nazis upon the Jewish people," Wertheim wrote.

Alongside the letter, Wertheim submitted an 11-page breakdown of the
series, highlighting specific scenes or comments that show Jewish
characters to be violent, racist oppressors and that reinforce age-old
stereotypes, such as Jews being wealthy. The breakdown contrasts the
portrayal with Arab characters, who are all shown as peaceful victims.
Arab attacks, incitement and terrorism against Jews from the 1880s to
the present day are either minimised or ignored, while actions of Jewish
underground groups in the 1940s and of the IDF today are, by comparison,
shown in graphic detail and not placed in any context.

Comparing The Promise to infamous Nazi propaganda film Jud Suss,
Wertheim wrote that both interpreted historical events not only as a
tragedy, but as a tale of "Jewish wrongdoing", and that both "made
liberal use of anti-Jewish stereotypes".

"We assume SBS would never contemplate screening a series in which all
the principal characters who are identifiably Muslim are either
ruthless, murderous terrorists or morally coarse people who condone
terrorism, or sympathise or cooperate with terrorists. Yet this is
precisely the way all of the principal character who are identifiably
Jewish are portrayed," he wrote.

The DVD of The Promise is set to go on sale next month, although SBS is
already inviting people to pre-order it on their website. An
SBS?spokesperson told The AJN the drama hasn't been scheduled for
rebroadcast "at this stage", however a posting on another website said
it would be shown again in the middle of this year.

Expressing his concern, Wertheim said, "In terms of SBS, we simply want
a determination that the content of the series breached the SBS codes
and that they shouldn't have screened it.

"If that is the case and they make a finding that it breached SBS's code
then it is my understanding they will have to stop selling it out of
their store as well."

(16) The Promise: powerful TV drama at its best

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/view-from-jerusalem-with-harriet-sherwood/2011/feb/07/israel-palestinian-territories

Peter Kosminsky's 4-part series on mandate-era Palestine and modern-day
Israel is vivid, harrowing and utterly compelling

I was lucky enough to see a preview of The Promise, the Peter Kosminsky
four-part drama that switches between mandate-era Palestine and
present-day Israel and the Palestinian territories, the first episode of
which aired on Channel 4 last night.

I wanted to write about it before it started showing, but Egypt
intervened. Having just finished watching the whole series, I'm left
drained and exhausted by its harrowing depiction of both periods, and
the parallels it draws between them.

Among the most striking scenes are the house demolitions: Jewish homes
destroyed by British forces in the 1940s; Palestinian homes crushed by
the Israeli army in modern times.

The unbearable scenes of Jewish victims of and refugees from the
Holocaust are countered by distressing scenes of the Palestinian nakba
during the bloody birth of the state of Israel.

The Jewish acts of atrocity in the 1940s find echo in modern-day suicide
bombings carried out by Palestinian militants.

When Len, the young British soldier, tells his young charge in 1948
"this war won't last forever", it's hard not to feel deeply pessimistic
about the next 60-odd years.

This is a magnificent and powerful piece of drama, television at its
best. Watch it if you can; I can't recommend it enough. ==
