Federal
Gay Marriage Ban Hurts The Bottom Line, Businesses Argue
by ERICA
RYAN
February 28, 2013 1:56 PM
After years of legal wrangling, the
Defense of Marriage Act — the law
that prevents the federal government from
recognizing marriage as
anything but a "legal union between one man and one
woman" — comes
before the Supreme Court next month.
Among those
urging the court to strike down the ban are some familiar
names, like
Google, Apple, Facebook, JetBlue and Starbucks. They were
among a group of
more than 200 businesses that filed a friend of the
court brief this week,
taking a corporate approach to the gay marriage
debate.
As The New
York Times reports: "The brief was one of many received by
the court as it
considered landmark cases on gay rights and marriage.
With a wide swath of
leading companies signing on, it is the latest sign
of the rapid shift
toward acceptance of same-sex marriage in the
corporate world as well as in
the country."
The problem, the businesses argue, is that while they
operate in places
where gay marriage is recognized under state law, "DOMA, a
federal law
withholding marital benefits from some lawful marriages but not
others,
requires that employers treat one employee differently from another,
when each is married, and each marriage is equally lawful. DOMA thus
impairs employer/employee relations and other business
interests."
The law means employers must treat employees in same-sex
marriages
differently when it comes to things like health care, retirement
and
taxes, they say, causing "unnecessary cost and administrative
complexity."
In a statement Thursday, Apple spokeswoman Amy Bessette
said, "DOMA
hurts legally married same-sex couples and prevents companies
from
treating all employees as equals. Apple strongly supports marriage
equality and we hope the Supreme Court will declare the law
unconstitutional."
Among the businesses signing the brief was one
familiar from last year's
presidential campaign, as the Boston Globe notes:
"The group also
included Bain & Co., the Boston consulting firm that
launched Mitt
Romney's career before he started Bain Capital. Romney, a
former
Massachusetts governor, opposed gay marriage when it became legal
here
in 2004 and opposed it in his campaign for president last
year."
The Obama administration has also gone on the record asking the
court to
get rid of the federal ban on recognizing same-sex
marriages.
The other landmark gay-marriage case the court is considering
in March
is a challenge to Proposition 8, the ban on same-sex marriage in
California. A group of more than 80 Republicans made headlines this week
for signing on to a brief asking the court to overturn it.
But as
NPR's Don Gonyea pointed out, "only two of the names on the list
so far are
sitting GOP officeholders, both members of Congress: Richard
Hanna of New
York and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida."
More are people who have held
office or run for it in the past, like
"Meg Whitman, the former CEO of eBay
who opposed gay marriage as a
candidate for governor of California in 2010.
There's also former Utah
governor and GOP presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman
and Christie Todd
Whitman, a former governor and EPA
administrator."
And the GOP's official position on gay marriage hasn't
changed. House
Republicans are defending the Defense of Marriage Act in
court, since
the administration has declined to.
The Obama
administration may outline where it stands on the Proposition
8 case in a
filing with the Supreme Court this week.

Why
Jews Push Gay Marriage
By Brother Nathanael Kapner
April 1, 2013 @
8:49 pm
The push is on.
With the Supreme Court Hearings last week
on homosexual unions—and
Obama’s own endorsement—Jews are at the forefront
in promoting ‘gay’
marriage.
Jewish leaders like billionaire’s
Sheldon Adelson, Michael Bloomberg,
and Marc Stern of the American Jewish
Committee, have all come out in
favor of what has traditionally been looked
upon as sexual depravity.
Even Elena Kagan at the Supreme Court, yes,
Jewish, an alleged lesbian
at that, is reportedly known for “queerifying
Harvard” when Dean of the
Law School by introducing “transgender law
courses”
Two Jewish groups in particular: The Anti-Defamation League,
together
with the American Federation of Teachers, have been promoting the
homosexual agenda in our public schools.
Books like Daddy’s New
Roommate, (Ken), Daddy’s Wedding, (Daddy marries
Ken), King and King, are
part of the ADL’s Early Learning Program,
molding the minds of
impressionable little children to accept and
embrace deviant sexual
acts.
But Jews prefer sending their kids to private schools. It gives
their
children better standing for admittance to Ivy-League colleges and
shields them from homosexual propaganda.
Believe me, for I grew up as
a Jew, for a Jewish son or daughter to
announce to their parents that they
are ‘gay’ is one of the worst things
that could ever happen.
You see,
Jews look upon marriage for their own as sacrosanct, as
paramount for the
perpetuity of the Jewish race.
[Clip: “I’m going to tell you the most
important thing you have to
remember, about all that I learned in the world
this is it, no matter
what happens you marry a Jewish girl.” [audience
laughs] “That’s right,
your mother was right. You marry a Jewish boy.
There’s nothing more
important in the whole than this. And there’s another
reason you better
marry a Jewish girl. So you mother doesn’t break both your
legs.”]
Indeed according to my own Jewish upbringing, there’s nothing
‘gay’
about two men having sex in each other’s rectums and two women using
dildos to imitate the act of procreation.
And we heard during the
Sabbath Torah Readings the passage from
Leviticus, “Thou shalt not lie with
mankind as with womankind, it is an
abomination, saith the Lord.”
Why
then are Jews pushing gay marriage? It’s for the Goys, that’s why.
I’ll
never forget the day that a ‘gay’ movie came to Brookline Mass.
with
homosexual images plastered all over the marquis.
As I stood across the
street in disgust, a Hasidic rabbi came walking by.
I pointed to the
movie and said, “Isn’t it horrid that we’re assaulted
with these lewd images
and titles?”
The rabbi laughed and scorned and said, “It’s for the Goys!
Who cares!”
You see, Jews have no special love for queens, transvestites,
and
cross-dressers. They look upon them as “dreck”…as repulsive.
But
to dismantle a Christian culture in America that opposes Jewry,
that’s what
the Jews are after.
Homosexuality is for the Goys! But the Regime is for
the Jews.

Hillary Clinton backs gay marriage
in online video
Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has
announced her support
for gay marriage.
Gay and lesbian couples
should enjoy equal rights that "includes
marriage", Mrs Clinton said, in a
five-minute video for a gay rights
advocacy group.
Mrs Clinton added
that she supports same-sex marriage "personally and as
a matter of policy
and law".
Other Democrats seen as possible 2016 presidential contenders
have also
publicly backed gay unions.
Vice-President Joe Biden, New
York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Maryland
Governor Martin O'Malley - seen as
possible presidential hopefuls - have
also backed same-sex
marriage.
Correspondents say the announcement, which comes weeks after
Mrs Clinton
left her post as the top US diplomat, is likely to fuel
speculation that
she may be considering a second run for the White
House.
According to a Gallup opinion poll in November, 53% of American
adults
support same-sex marriage while 46% are opposed.
Views on gay
marriage appear to be changing faster than on any other
major issue,
analysts say.
On Friday, Rob Portman became the first Republican senator
to announce
his support for same-sex marriage, saying he had a change of
heart after
learning that his son is gay.
(4) The Lobby behind
Newsweek's Gay Obama

The
Jews behind Newsweek's Gay Obama
Brother Nathanael Kapner
THE TWO
JEWS WHO OWN NEWSWEEK in a 50/50 split initiated in April of
2011 are former
Congresswoman Jane Harman and Hollywood mogul Barry Diller.
Ultimately
responsible for Newsweek’s cover story, “Obama: The First Gay
President,”
both Harman and Diller combine their talents pursuant of a
formidable Jewish
agenda.
Harman, who retired from Congress in February 2011, straightaway
went on
to head the Jew-founded and Jew-permeated “progressive” so-called
‘think-tank,’ the Woodrow Wilson International Center for
Scholars.
Somehow, Harman managed to inveigle herself into serving as
Director,
President and CEO all in one kosher bundle.
The Woodrow
Wilson Center was founded by Joseph Gildenhorn, a Zionist
Jew, who also
serves on the advisory board of the Center for Strategic
and International
Studies (CSIS) and the United Nations Watch, Geneva,
Switzerland.
With Harman’s former slots on the Congressional
Intelligence, Defense,
and Homeland Security Committees, she forms a perfect
interlock with
Gildenhorn’s international Zionist connections. And
doubtless, Newsweek
promotes the inherent Zionist-Jewish
programme.
HARMAN’S NEWSWEEK PARTNER, Barry Diller, is one of the top
three
Hollywood “Gay Power Brokers” — known as the “Velvet
Mafia.”
Diller’s fellow homosexual Jewish activists, David Geffen of
Dream Works
and Sandy Gallin, a manager of some of the top names in
Hollywood, round
out the threesome. View Entire Story Here, Here &
Here.
With Harman’s connection to the White House due to her tenure on
Capitol
Hill; Diller’s links to homosexual Jewish Hollywood; and
Gildenberg’s
international Zionist networking — all bundled into one
strategic Jewish
agenda —; a platform to bring Obama “out” into the world of
gay peddling
and influence is being erected.
And with the mounting of
Jewish plans to totally destroy all that is
left of Christian morality and
sexual mores, only one group rises to the
top: Anti-Christ American
Jewry.
HOMOSEXUAL JEWISH HOLLYWOOD & THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN
OBAMA
MIRACULOUSLY ‘SAW THE LIGHT’ when “coming out” in support of gay
marriage
just in time for George Clooney’s Hollywood fundraiser.
No sooner did he
make his announcement favoring same-sex marriage on May
9, 2012, than Obama
found himself handed $15 million in campaign
contributions at Clooney’s
Jew-filled extravaganza held at his Laurel
Canyon mansion the very next
day.
Before an ecstatic group of homosexuals and lesbians, Obama
proclaimed:
“Yesterday we made some news. We’re not going to turn back the
clock.
You will no longer be discriminated against based on who you love.
[Screams & Howls!] We are moving forward!”
Jewish notables in
attendance united in their agenda to destroy
America’s Christian
consciousness included Newsweek’s Barry Diller (now
“officially” bi-sexual
after marrying Dianna Von Furstenberg); Jeffrey
Katzenberg of Dream Works,
who organized the fund raiser; singer Barbara
Streisand; and “gay” sitcom
actor, Billy Crystal.
ON MAY 21 2012, Obama is scheduled to appear at a
fundraiser in New
York sponsored by homosexual supporters. On June 6, he
heads back to Los
Angeles for a LGBT gala, which organizers say quickly
exceeded its
700-person limit after the president’s
announcement.
“Gays are the next Jews of fundraising,” declared Rahm
Emanuel, when
hustling money for Bill Clinton for his presidential campaign
back in
the 1990’s.
But for Barack Hussein Obama, now swinging on the
gold-plated hinge of
homosexual campaign contributions, he’s enjoying the
best of two Jewish
worlds: big bucks both from AIPAC warmongers and
Hollywood/NYC
Homosexuals Jews.
With 81% of American Jews supporting
same-sex marriage, (for Goys not
for themselves), Obama—alleged to be a
homosexual himself—is clearly
siding with Jewry’s ongoing annihilation of
the traditional consensus of
the White and Black Middle
Class.
America is now being eroded by a malignant cancer: the Jewish
penetration of every facet of our nation’s society. And now we find our
nation’s foremost political leader at the knees of Jewish homosexuals
pandering for money and votes.
As it was in Weimar Germany so it is
today in America, yet worse. Truly
it can be said, “The Jews Are Our
Misfortune!”

bill aimed at Scouts' gay ban passes hurdle
By LISA LEFF— Apr. 10 6:06 PM
EDT
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A bill aimed at pressuring the Boy Scouts of
America to lift its ban on gay members by making the organization
ineligible for nonprofit tax breaks cleared its first vote on Wednesday
in the California Legislature.
The Senate Governance and Finance
Committee voted 5 to 2 to move the
first-of-its-kind bill to the Senate
Appropriations Committee for review.
The Youth Equality Act, sponsored by
Sen. Ricardo Lara, D-Long Beach,
would deny tax-exempt status to youth
groups that discriminate on the
basis of gender identity, race, sexual
orientation, nationality,
religion or religious affiliation.
That
means those groups would have to pay corporate taxes on donations,
membership dues, camp fees and other sources of income, as well as sales
taxes on food, beverages and homemade items sold at
fundraisers.
Former Boy Scouts of America president Rick Cronk appeared
before the
committee on Wednesday, telling members that Scouting has had a
positive
impact on the state and that being taxed on fundraising sales would
hurt
local troops.
The proposal was written with the Boy Scouts and
its exclusion of gay
members and troop leaders in mind, but its language
also would require
other youth groups to revisit membership policies for
transgender and
atheist members.
If the Appropriations Committee
passes the bill, it would require
two-thirds approval from the full Senate
before it could be sent to the
California Assembly for
consideration.
Boy Scouts of America spokesman Deron Smith declined to
comment on
Wednesday's vote. Conservative legal aid groups have said they
would sue
if the bill gets enacted into law because it penalizes groups
based on
their beliefs.
The BSA is reviewing its membership policies.
Later this month,
Scouting's executive officers will present a resolution
regarding the
policy to be considered in May by the voting members of the
National
Council.
(6) Transgender woman banned from Idaho store over
use of restroom

SALMON, Idaho | Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:46pm
EDT
(Reuters) - A transgender woman whose use of a women's restroom in an
Idaho grocery store reportedly upset other customers has been cited for
trespassing and banned from the store for a year, police said on
Friday.
A Rosauers supermarket in Lewiston asked police to charge
25-year-old
Ally Robledo, who was born male but identifies as female, with
the
misdemeanor trespass charge on Monday, Lewiston Police Captain Roger
Lanier said.
"The store security officer said he had been dealing
with a problem over
a couple days with the person going into the women's
restroom and
urinating while standing up," Lanier said.
He added that
the store had reported that Robledo's use of the restroom
made other female
customers "very uncomfortable."
Robledo said she was being discriminated
against.
"I'm a female trapped in a man's body. It's natural for me to go
to the
ladies' room. Getting the no trespassing order for a public restroom
was
really painful," she said.
The incident follows several cases
that have stoked public debate about
the boundaries of gender identity and
the rights of transgender people
to use accommodations such as restrooms in
government buildings and
businesses open to the public.
In February
the parents of a 6-year-old transgender girl in Colorado
filed a complaint
with the state's civil rights agency challenging a
decision by education
officials to deny their child access to the girls'
restrooms in her school.
The case is being closely watched by civil
libertarians.
Then last
month in Arizona, a judge declined to grant a divorce to a
transgender man,
ruling he could not prove he was a male when he wed his
wife in Hawaii.
Same-sex marriages are not recognized in Arizona. The
man has said he would
appeal.
Colorado and a dozen other states have laws explicitly barring
discrimination against transgender people in employment, housing and
public accommodations, but Idaho does not, according to the American
Civil Liberties Union.
Robledo said she was being unfairly treated by
the store and by
authorities in a rural area where questions about gender
identity and
the rights of transgender people rarely arise.
"I'm
struggling here in this rural community as a transgender. Now I
feel even
more vulnerable," she said.
Ilona Turner, legal director of Transgender
Law Center in San Francisco,
said it was discriminatory to prevent
transgender people from using the
same facilities as everyone
else.
"Transgender people have the same needs and deserve the same access
to
public stores and facilities as others without discrimination based on
who they are. They just need to go to the bathroom like everyone else,"
she told Reuters by email.
An executive with Rosauers, a regional
supermarket chain based in
Spokane, Washington, did not respond to a request
for comment.
Under Idaho law, anyone who owns or controls a property can
deny access
to it. Lanier said police responded to a trespassing matter
involving
Robledo and were not in a position to address the transgender
issue.
"Society has yet to define exactly what makes a transgender. Far
be it
from a police department in Idaho to try to define that," he
said.

Washington state florist sued again for refusal to service gay wedding
http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/04/19/us-usa-gaymarriage-washington-idUSBRE93I08820130419

SEATTLE | Fri Apr 19, 2013 3:30am EDT
(Reuters)
- A Washington state florist who refused to sell flowers to a
gay couple for
their wedding has been sued by the American Civil
Liberties Union, in the
second legal action accusing the vendor of
discrimination.
Florist
Barronelle Stutzman already faced a consumer protection lawsuit
over the
incident filed against her last week by state Attorney General
Bob Ferguson.
She maintained her Christian beliefs prevented her from
selling the flowers
for the same-sex wedding, according to court papers.
The plaintiffs in
the latest lawsuit filed on Thursday are Robert
Ingersoll and Curt Freed,
who are represented by the American Civil
Liberties Union of Washington
state.
The couple were longtime customers of Stutzman's southeast
Washington
state business, Arlene's Flowers, in Richland, their lawsuit
said.
The legal battle follows a move by Washington state voters in
November
to allow gay marriage, but the ACLU's lawsuit is not based on the
legality of same-sex marriage in the state.
Instead, it centers on
the state's law prohibiting discrimination on the
basis of sexual
orientation, said Doug Honig, spokesman for the ACLU of
Washington
state.
"Everybody is entitled to their own private religious beliefs and
the
ACLU respects that strongly," Honig said.
"But a business open to
the public cannot use religion as a reason to
justify discriminating," he
said.
When Ingersoll entered Stutzman's store in March to buy flowers for
his
upcoming wedding to Freed, Stutzman told him she could not serve him
"because of (her) relationship with Jesus Christ," according to the
lawsuit filed last week by the attorney general.
Stutzman's attorney,
Justin Bristol, said forcing his client to sell
flowers for a gay wedding
violated her constitutional rights of freedom
of speech, association and
religious exercise.
"She is one of the few people left today willing to
stand by her
convictions rather than compromise her beliefs," Bristol said.
"She's a
very nice lady and doesn't have a discriminatory bone in her body,
but
she doesn't want to be forced to participate in an event that she
doesn't believe in."
The ACLU lawsuit, unlike the legal action from
the attorney general's
office, lists Freed and Ingersoll as plaintiffs and
seeks damages on
their behalf. The attorney general's office seeks fines
against the
business, but no damages for the two men.
Washington is
one of nine states along with the District of Columbia
that allow same-sex
marriage.

Salvos deny endemic child sex abuse
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-04-11/abuse-not-endemic-in-children27s-homes3a-salvos/4623302
Updated

The Salvation Army has admitted it has received
close to 500 complaints
from children who were sexually abused in its
orphanages around Victoria.
The religious and charity organisation says
it has paid out almost $20
million in compensation, but denies paedophilia
was endemic.
The Victorian parliamentary child abuse inquiry heard the
Salvos have
not reported a single complaint to police and that the total
number of
child abuse cases is almost certainly much higher than its records
show.
The inquiry was also told the Salvation Army has never conducted a
review into the abuse that took place at its children's
homes.
Salvation Army Captain Malcolm Roberts told the inquiry that the
organisation had received 471 complaints against officers for abuse that
took place up until the 1980s.
He said the complaints related to
about 50 officers, 37 of whom have died.
Under intense questioning,
Captain Roberts conceded the Salvation Army
had never conducted a
comprehensive review of abuse because the offences
happened so long
ago.
"Most of the people who could give us any guidance around what
happened
in those homes are dead," he said.
Captain Roberts said
despite the large number of recent complaints, he
rejected any suggestion
that child sexual abuse was endemic at Salvation
Army orphanages.
"If
we say that they are even the tip of the iceberg, there might be
much more
than that out there, they certainly reflect a small proportion
of the
children who were in our homes," he said.
"The Salvation Army hasn't
conducted a review or an investigation into
what actually went on in those
homes because it's 20, 30, 40 years ago,"
he said.
The parliamentary
inquiry has indicated it might compel the Salvation
Army to conduct a
thorough investigation into abuse.
The Salvation Army says an
investigation will be held, if that is what
the inquiry
wants.
National's MP David O'Brien told the inquiry the Salvation Army
should
have already conducted such a review voluntarily.
"If an
organisation like yours is not able to properly confront the fact
that it
has had child abuse as part of its organisational structure then
I put it to
you that's it in danger of repeating that because it
provides an incentive
for cover-up," he said.
(9) Rabbi pleads guilty to child sex
abuse

A
rabbi who taught at a Jewish Orthodox boys' school in Melbourne has
pleaded
guilty to child sex abuse dating back 20 years.
David Kramer, 52, pleaded
guilty in the Melbourne Magistrates Court to
six charges of indecent assault
for the sexual abuse of students at the
Jewish orthodox Yeshiva College in
St Kilda East between 1990 and 1992.
It is believed Kramer is the first
member of a Jewish institution to
admit to child sex abuse allegations in
Australia.
Kramer fled overseas in the early 1990s when accusations of
abuse were
raised with the college.
He was sentenced to seven years
in jail in the United States for abusing
a 12-year-old boy.
Kramer
was extradited to face charges in Australia last year.
An advocate for
the victims, Manny Waks, says it is an important
milestone for the victims
and a watershed for the Australian Jewish
community.
"Today's
conviction will send out a strong message to our community: you
will be
brought to justice irrespective of how far back you committed
these crimes,"
he said in a statement.
"There is no immunity.
"Hopefully it will
encourage some of his many other alleged victims to
come forward."
He
says the victims that he has spoken to are feeling anxious but
relieved that
justice has finally been served.
"We hope and trust that he will get the
sentence he deserves," he said.
Kramer is due to return to court in
July.
(10) Jewish welfare group knows it is sheltering a
paedophile
http://www.smh.com.au/national/jewish-welfare-group-knows-it-is-sheltering-a-paedophile-20130409-2hjer.html
April

Richard Baker, Nick McKenzie
A self-confessed paedophile
who sexually abused several boys in Sydney
is being harboured by a leading
Los Angeles Jewish welfare group.
The man, who is being investigated by
NSW detectives over several sexual
assaults at Bondi's Yeshiva school in the
1980s, has been shielded from
exposure and scrutiny by Jewish Family Service
of Los Angeles.
The man admitted to regular and serious sexual abuse of
several boys in
the 1980s.
The service, more than 150 years old,
provides medical, housing, food,
counselling, educational and family support
services.
Emails obtained from US sources show that since mid-2011 its
board
members have been aware of the man's sexual abuse history in Australia
but have not reported him to authorities in Sydney or the US.
In an
email to the man in November 2011, Debbie Fox, executive director
of the Los
Angeles organisation, refers to phone calls to board members
about his
activities in Sydney.
''I have no idea how anyone found out - but calls
are coming daily from
many sources. So far, we've been protecting
you.''
The revelation that a big Jewish organisation in the US is
protecting a
known paedophile comes at a time when orthodox communities
around the
world are being challenged about their historical preference for
handling of child sex abuse cases internally rather than involving the
police.
The man is central to the controversy surrounding Bondi's
Yeshiva
community and some of Australia's most senior rabbis.
Emails
show the Jewish Family Service conducted an ''evaluation'' of the
man, who
is not being named for legal reasons, to see if he was still a
risk to
children.
The evaluation included assessments by doctors and
psychologists, and
the man undertaking a lie detector test.
In her
email, Ms Fox expressed frustration at how long the man was
taking to
complete the process, writing ''we have NEVER had any
evaluation take nearly
this long.
''For your security - you must complete it and we must get the
evaluation report and recommendations,'' she wrote.
It is believed
the man did not pass the evaluation and remains under
strict controls to
prevent his being with children unsupervised. Ms Fox
did not respond to
questions.
The emails show the man's history as a sexual abuser has not
been made
known to most members of the Jewish community he mixes with in LA.
Close
members of his family in Australia and the US are also understood to
be
unaware of his past.
It was revealed this year during a recent
conversation with one of his
victims that the man admitted to regular and
serious sexual abuse of
several boys in the 1980s.
NSW police are
understood to have a recording of this conversation. In
it, the man says
Yeshiva's spiritual leader Rabbi Pinchus Feldman
confronted him about a
sexual abuse incident in the mid-1980s.
In February, Rabbi Feldman
released a statement saying he had no
recollection of anyone confessing to
child sexual abuse 25 years ago and
that he encouraged anyone with knowledge
of such crimes to go to the police.
The man who admitted to sexually
abusing boys at Yeshiva left Sydney to
find a wife in Los Angeles. But after
a few weeks he returned to Sydney
and continued sexually abusing boys. He
eventually settled in Los Angeles.
The head of the Organisation of Rabbis
of Australasia, Moshe Gutnick,
said last month that he had received an

years ago from a boy who claimed to have been
sexually abused by the man.

Detransition
because NOT "born in the wrong body"
A University of Rome study proves
transsexuals have normal Y
chromosomes. The SRY is the main sex-determining
gene. AZF a, b and C
are genes for male infertility. Transsexuals do not
even have a smidgeon
of abnormality there.
The DAX1 and androgen
receptor genes were theorized to cause
transsexualism since they can lead to
intersex and can turn a person
with a normal Y chromosome into a XY woman.
Yet there is no alteration
in these genes in any of the
transsexuals.

Britain's
youngest sex swap patient to detransition (Oct. 29, 2012)
After all the
favorable publicity in the US about children "needing" sex
change treatment,
it's refreshing to read that it is not "happily ever
after."
This
young person made the decision at age 16-17 to start the
transition, and now
regrets it only one year later. She has cancelled
the operation scheduled
for January and halted hormone treatments.
She (or he) confirms the point
I made in my book, Paper Genders--the
brain hasn't matured enough to make
this decision until the person
reaches their mid-20s. So why would we
encourage any child to undergo
"treatments" with such long-term
consequences?
The following is an excerpt from the article (Oct. 29,
2012):
Although Ms Cooper underwent a thorough psychological assessment
and
counseling at Hull Royal Infirmary prior to starting her sex change
therapy she has suffered such torment living as a women that she has
tried to commit suicide twice.
She told told the Sunday Mirror: ‘The
hormones have made me feel up and
down. One minute I feel moody and the next
minute I feel really happy.’
‘The night I tried to slash my wrists I’d
downed a bottle of Jack
Daniel’s and just thought about how alone I am, and
how my decision has
alienated my family and how I will have to become a boy
again to resolve
it.’

Regret Is Real—and Transgenders Are Going Back...
From a
physician:
"If I could only go back to the day before my surgery in March
of 2005
-- I would run from that surgeon’s knife. I have lived and worked as
a
surgically altered man trying to play the part of a woman for six years.
I spared no expense at trying to make it work." Read more
Regret Is
Real—and Sometimes Quick
"Although I thought I was completely sure of
what I was doing, I began
to regret the decision a mere three weeks after
the operation. Some
might say I was experiencing post-op depression, but it
was definitely
more than that. Read more

Walt's
Story
Over 20 years ago, I underwent sex reassignment surgery at the
hands of
a skilled sex change surgeon, Dr. Stanley Biber.
Ever since
I could remember, I felt like I was born into the wrong body.
The diagnosis
was gender dysphoria, or gender identity disorder. The
transgender support
community provided an answer—take hormones and get
sex reassignment surgery.
In other words, change into a woman. But can
you really change?
Dr.
Biber claimed that he had changed me from a man into a woman. Years
later
the truth emerged—Dr. Biber’s own words in an affidavit to a
California
court stated no sex change occurred. I was indeed still a man.
My
perfectly good body parts had been amputated. Years of looking like
and
living as a woman did not bring the promised treatment or relief. I
still
suffered from psychological issues which needed to be properly
diagnosed and
treated.
I turned to Jesus Christ, who surrounded me with His loving
people.
Through their unconditional love, I finally received treatment for
dissociative disorder and now I am restored as a father, husband and
man.
Now we are celebrating my restored life, and I'm here to share the
amazing story with you through my book, Trading My Sorrows.

Reviews
"...a remarkable book..."
Steve Farrar, best-selling
author
“Forget political correctness--here is a hard hitting account of
the
truth about surgical genders. But it is also an incredible story of
God's grace and of the faithfulness of supportive friends. You will be
changed by what you read.”
--David Stoop, Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist
and Gold Medallion winning author
"…a true miracle story...about a very
personal and powerful struggle...
Walt's story will take you through valleys
marked with dark despair and
land you on the mountaintop of victory. Walt is
a living testimony of
God's amazing grace."
--Jim Smoke,
internationally known Author, Speaker and Life Coach
"Walt's compelling
life story has many invaluable lessons for all of us.
Most importantly, the
journey of healing and recovery can require a
tenacious commitment to stay
the course, and a faithful community
providing steadfast love, unyielding
support, and an unconditional
acceptance of the person in process. Even with
God's caring
intervention, healing can take a lifetime."

Trading My Sorrows is a very well
written memoir about a spiritually
broken man who struggles through abuse,
bad advise, life altering
mistakes, and a sex change operation. A person who
can be so humble to
detail his life's tragedies is a hero in my opinion. How
he overcomes
his challenges through his belief in God is remarkable and
worth
reading. Happy endings are a good thing.
I read the negative
reviews (on Amazon.com) and I have to ask, why so
angry? I found nothing in
Walt's book to anger anyone. We all speak of
God in different ways, how He's
influenced our life, what He means to
us. Some, of course, don't believe in
any superior being that helps
direct our life. All that is fine, to each his
own. The way Walt
accepted God into his life, and the way his belief allowed
him to
achieve a peaceful existance is Walt's emotional processing, not
anyone
else's. No need for anger.
Walt faced fruitful opportunities
in the course of his life, but because
he lacked strength, he didn't have
the soulful fortitude he needed to
escape consequences of his unguided
decisions. How does an alcoholic, a
drug addict find his way toward
righteousness when clouded by
detrimentally mind altering substances? Walt
found his way to happiness
through God. It worked for Walt, nothing wrong
with that.
Read Walt's book. I'm sure the majority of readers will enjoy
it.

Pulling the Mask Off the Transgender Phenomenon
Authored by
Walt Heyer

Profoundly clear,
well-documented and fair.

while working in San
Francisco. Walt has walked and talked with
transgenders and seen the

dependence at U.C. Santa Cruz, Walt
has worked with people who have a
strong desire to put the pieces of their
lives back together.
