Op-ed calls on Israel to nuke
Germany, Iran
’20-30 nuclear bombs will assure the job gets done,’
opinion piece on
right-wing Israel National News site says
BY TIMES

Right-wing media outlet
Israel National News published an opinion piece
Tuesday calling on Israel to
launch nuclear bombs at Iran and Germany,
only days after the outlet came
under fire for publishing a piece
accusing a war widow of killing her
husband over her pro-peace views.
In the opinion article published
Tuesday, the author claims that only
through nuclear annihilation of Iran
and Germany, with 20 or 30 nuclear
bombs each, can Israelis prevent the
state’s destruction.
“If Israel does not walk in the ways of God’s
Bible,” author Chen
Ben-Eliyahu wrote in Hebrew, “it will receive a heavy
punishment of near
complete destruction and doom and only a few will be
saved.”
One of Israel’s missions is to remember the crimes of Amalek, a
tribe
representative of pure evil in the Bible, whom Jews are commanded to
obliterate. Among those descended from the band, the author writes, are
Iranian leaders Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, former president Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad and current President Hassan Rouhani.
“They don’t miss an
opportunity to discuss the need for the annihilation
of Israel,” he
wrote.
To combat this Israel must respond in kind, Ben-Eliyahu declared.
“To an
existential threat we must respond with an existential threat,” he
wrote, “not with speeches in Congress. We must make it clear to the
Iranians that Israel will wipe out their nuclear program and Tehran and
Isfahan as well.”
“If [an enemy] rises up to destroy you, rise
earlier to destroy him:
twenty, thirty nuclear bombs will do to assure the
job gets done,” he
continued.
He also called on Israel to remember
its near destruction at the hands
of the Nazis and exact revenge on Germany,
now a staunch ally of Israel.
When the Messiah comes, Ben-Eliyahu wrote,
Israel will reverse the Final
Solution. “Twenty, thirty atomic bombs on
Berlin, Munich, Hamburg,
Nuremberg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Dresden,
Dortmund and so on to
assure the job gets done. And the land will be quiet
for a thousand
years,” he wrote.
Israel National News refused to
comment on the website’s decision to run
the op-ed.
On Sunday, the
outlet came under fire for publishing an opinion piece by
Hagai Huberman in
which he lashed out at Michal Kastan Kedar, whose
husband was killed during
Operation Protective Edge in Gaza last summer,
and who addressed the crowd
at a left-wing rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday
night.
“You lost your
husband, lost your hope for a different, better life,
only because 10 years
ago there were people who listened to opinions
such as yours, listened to
aging generals such as [ex-Mossad chief] Meir
Dagan, who stood by you on
that stage,” he wrote in the piece headlined
“Kills her husband and cries
that she’s a widow.”
On Monday, Huberman said he would consider
apologizing to Kedar.

Soon after
the U.S. and other major powers entered negotiations last

Iran's nuclear program, senior White House officials
learned Israel was
spying on the closed-door talks.
The spying operation was part of a

Introduction
The
Wall Street Journal (WSJ) (3/25/15) headlined: ‘Israel Spied on Iran
Nuclear
Talks with the US”. The article goes on to detail the way in
which Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the confidential
information to
sabotage the talks, including ‘playing them back to US
legislators to
undermine US diplomacy’.
The WSJ report of this incident tries to play
down the serious
implications of Israel’s espionage by claiming that Israeli
spying of US
diplomatic negotiations is ‘normal even among allies’; that
‘both sides
do it’; that the US ‘tolerates’ Israeli spying; that the
‘Israelis have
not directly spied on the US’ but use sympathetic US agents .
. . and
several other excuses for Israel’s behavior.
After having
revealed Tel Aviv’s espionage - the WSJ dismisses the
sabotage. Worse still,
it makes no attempt to investigate who, among the
highly-placed US
government officials with direct access to the
negotiations, has been spying
for Israel. This essay attempts to
address this question by identifying the
most likely suspects.
We will proceed by describing the seriousness of
the crime by noting the
centrality of the US-Iran negotiations for US global
politics and the
enormous damage, which has resulted from Israel’s securing
secret
documents, reports and proceedings of the talks and having a highly
placed agent among the US diplomats.
The Significance of the, US-Iran
Negotiations
The negotiations between the major powers (P5+1), composed
of the five
UN Security Council members plus Germany, led by the US, with
Iran have
proceeded for over two years. Israel is not part of the
negotiating
process-formally but indirectly its presence is substantial. For
Washington the stakes are very high: securing a nuclear agreement with
Iran in which Teheran submits to constant and pervasive ‘inspections’,
and dismantles a substantial part of its nuclear program, certainly
weakens Iran’s regional prestige and increases US influence in the
region. Secondly, through the initial agreement, it is likely that
Washington will move forward to deepen joint political activity with
Iran in neighboring countries. Thirdly, Washington will use the
agreement to isolate Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Yemen, from Iranian
financial, military and diplomatic support. Fourthly, US multi-national
oil corporations could gain access to the Iranian oil fields and
exporters could access a huge consumer market of 70 million Iranian
citizens. Fifthly, the agreement would lessen the danger that Israel
would initiate a major war, which the Zionist power configuration in the
US could quickly convert into a disastrous US regional war. Given the
fact that the US-Afghan war has lasted 14 years, and counting, and cost
over $1 trillion dollars, and that the Iraq invasion has far exceeded
those costs and intensified over the past year, a US nuclear agreement
with Iran would avoid a catastrophic, prolonged war designed to enhance
Israeli dominance in the Middle East.
Israel’s Interest in Sabotaging
theP 5 + 1 Nuclear Negotiations
Israel knows that Iran does not have a
nuclear weapons program (as does
Washington). The US government uses this
as a pretext to secure
political concessions from Iran, to degrade its
regional influence, and
to secure their support in policing the Middle
East. In contrast,
Israel seeks to destroy Iran’s capacity to support the
Palestinian
anti-colonial struggle.
Netanyahu and his Zionist
supporters, in and out of the US government,
seek to induce the US to
increase economic sanctions in order to
strangle the Iranian economy, to
foment internal unrest and to set
US-Iranian relations on a path toward a
military confrontation.
Netanyahu launched a multi-prong attack on the
negotiations. During the
AIPAC meeting in March 2015 he ‘dictated the line’
to 10,000 fanatical
Zionist followers. He made Iran and US negotiations the
central focus
of activity for the 52 Presidents of the Major American Jewish
Organizations, their billionaire donors and Washington operatives.
Netanyahu told them that they must concentrate on degrading Iran, on
turning Congress into a bastion for undermining any agreement reached
via diplomatic negotiations.
Central to Netanyahu’s strategy is
securing first hand, up to date,
information (intelligence) on the
negotiations, identifying the
concessions which Iran is willing to make, the
demands which they
consider extreme and unlikely to accept, the points which
might lead to
a break-up of the negotiations and the position of the P5 + 1
participants which are closest to Israel. Netanyahu’s closest supporter
is the Zionized-regime of French President Hollande and in particular
Laurent Fabius, his Foreign Minister.
The sequence is as follows:
American and Israeli spies, operating within
the US government, pass
intelligence to Netanyahu who sends directives
to AIPAC which writes up
resolutions for US Congress people which then
transmit it through the mass
media to the US public and to the White
House which raises the issues, in
part, to the negotiators the P 5 plus 1.
The question of timing is
central, as the negotiations approach their
deadline and the possibility of
an agreement is advancing. The spies
and sources, both among the US
officials and among the European
diplomats (mostly the French) involved in
the negotiations, must
intensify their undercover work for
Israel.
Israeli Espionage Network in Washington: The Prime
Suspects
The success or failure of Washington’s nuclear negotiations and
the
sustainable of any agreement depends on overcoming Netanyahu’s
formidable army of supporters in the US Congress and his corporate
allies in the mass media. The single most decisive aspect of the
negotiations is maintaining the secrecy of the proceedings, especially
with regard to the compromises that are inevitable in any historic
agreement – especially Iran’s compromises. If Netanyahu has, real-time
intelligence, he can devise effective counter-moves to sabotage the
agreement before it is announced.
While a score of Zionist-influenced
think tanks and hundreds of
full-time AIPAC functionaries have incredible
‘access’ to US officials,
especially those involved in Middle East
policy-making, the timeliness
of information/ intelligence that Netanyahu
needs can only be obtained
from officials who are directly or closely
involved in the current
negotiations with Iran.
The likely criteria
for identifying such agents among US diplomatic
officials include (1) a
long-standing history of strong pro-Israel
activity and anti-Iranian animus;
(2) extensive interactions and
involvement with Israeli intelligence and
foreign ministry officials;
(3) deep involvement in devising and
implementing sanctions policies
against Iran; and (4) immediate access to
or, better still, direct
participation in the negotiating
group.
Numerous officials fit one or two of the criteria. However if we
consider all four, we can identify a narrow circle of five officials,
who have the history, contacts and access to secret negotiations, which
make them prime candidates for spying for Israel. They are:
Michael
Froman, top US trade negotiator
Jack Lew, US Secretary of
Treasury
Penny Pritzker, US Secretary of Commerce
David Cohen,
Undersecretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial
Intelligence
Wendy Sherman, Undersecretary of Political Affairs and
Chief US
negotiator in the nuclear talks with Iran.
While all five
have been ardent supporters of Israel before and during
their time in the
Obama administration, only two could have direct, real
time access to the
negotiations.
David Cohen, has been extremely active pushing for
sanctions against
Iran and has a lot to lose if sanctions are lifted or
weakened. Like
his predecessor, Stuart Levy, he has been closely associated
with AIPAC,
which was instrumental in creating his post in Treasury and in
orienting
its activities toward prosecuting banks and multi-nationals, which
directly or indirectly trade with Iran. Cohen, although not directly
involved in the negotiations, could easily access their deliberations
since they affect his field of work. He also has a very ‘fluid’
relation with Israeli officials engaged in intelligence, finance and
foreign affairs. He has excellent relations with Netanyahu and supports
AIPAC’s agenda. While he could serve as an Israeli informant and
certainly does exchange intelligence, he does not have the real time
details of the proceedings, because he is not a member of the
negotiating team.
Only Wendy Sherman fits all the criteria. Sherman,
as head of the US
negotiating group, has access to all the details of daily
discussions,
proposals and concessions by the US and Iranian negotiators.
Moreover,
Sherman is in a position to translate Netanyahu’s demands on Iran
into
key agenda items and proposals. Sherman is a lifelong zealous Zionist
and according to one sympathetic writer, is ‘widely considered one of
Israel’s most supportive high level friends’. Sherman’s reputation on
the negotiating team has been that of a ‘hard negotiator’. Sherman was
one of the key authors of the ‘Joint Plan of Action, which was designed
to extract the maximum concessions from Iran while making the fewest
changes in US policy.
In a speech on October 23, 2014, designed to
reassure Israel-Firsters in
Washington, Sherman boasted: ‘In return for
limited sanctions relief,
Iran has halted the expansion of its overall
enrichment capacity, put a
cap on its stockpile of low-enriched uranium
hexafluoride, stopped the
production of uranium enriched to 20%, agreed not
to make further
advances at the Arak heavy water reactor, opened the door to
unprecedented daily access for international inspectors to the
facilities at Natanz and Fordow’. Sherman has secured US colonial
oversight over the entire Iranian uranium program – which the CIA and
the entire US intelligence consortium have repeatedly declared is not a
‘weapons program’!
Sherman shares Netanyahu’s visceral racist
ideological contempt for the
Iranians. She publicly told a US Senate
Committee that, “we know
deception is part of their (Iranians) DNA”. This
was clearly a crude
remark designed to provoke the Iranian government and
undermine the
negotiations before they began!
If the ideological
affinities and hatred of Iran point to Wendy Sherman
as the Israel’s ‘mole’
in the State Department, her strategic position
as head of the negotiating
committee immediately provides her with the
secret details that Israel needs
to sabotage Obama’s approach to Iran
and to organize opposition in the US.
The WSJ’s article underscores
Sherman’s role as an agent of Tel Aviv: ‘Mr.
Netanyahu and his top
advisers received confidential update on the Geneva
talks from
Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman and
other US
officials who knew at the time that Israeli intelligence was
working to
fill the gap.’ Washington eventually curtailed the ‘briefings.’
But
there is no evidence that Sherman ceased her activities on Netanyahu’s
behalf. It’s likely she continues to provide timely intelligence to her
Israeli counterparts.
Israel is pursuing a complex strategy: 1.
Opposing the negotiations
outright; 2. Organizing political forces in
Congress to impose new
sanctions to undermine the negotiations; 3. Securing
sympathetic US
officials on the negotiating team to spy and report the
proceedings to
Israel and 4. Helping Israel by making the most extreme
demands on
Iran, offering the least concessions in order to force a
breakdown of
the negotiations.
In other words, Israel pursues a
complex division of labor: Netanyahu
sets the rejectionist hardline. US
Zionists transmit that policy into
Congressional opposition. Top officials
in the State Department provide
intelligence for the hard ‘outsider’
campaign and work within the
negotiating framework to subvert the
proceedings. As the chief
negotiator, Sherman plays multiple roles on
behalf of Israel, only one
of which involves the immediate transfer of
highly sensitive
intelligence. Sherman has ensured that most of Netanyahu’s
demands are
incorporated into the US negotiating agenda in a win-win format.
If Iran
rejects them, the US will effectively break-off negotiations, blame
Iran
and impose even harsher sanctions; if Iran accepts the demands, its
peaceful nuclear program will be destroyed and it will be even more
vulnerable to an Israeli and/or US military attack with all its military
installations infiltrated and monitored by the US controlled
International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA).
While Netanyahu bellows
against the idea of negotiations with Iran, and
opposes any process lifting
sanctions, the realistic agenda of the
Israeli Foreign Office is to: 1.
Prolong the sanctions, 2. Minimize any
immediate relief, 3. Include clauses
which would give the US any pretext
for unilaterally revoking sanctions
without any consultation; 4.
Minimize the amount and level of enriched
uranium Iran could retain
within the country; 5. Dismantle most of Iran’s
centrifuges and impose
severe limitations on scientific research and
development; and 6. Stop
operation of Iran’s multi-billion dollar new
fortified nuclear power
facility at Fordow.
While Sherman cannot
outright terminate the negotiations she is doing
everything in her power to
either force a breakdown or thoroughly
humiliate the
Iranians.
Conclusion
The failure of the Obama regime to go after
its own State Department
officials acting as agents for Israel; its refusal
to confront long-term
aggressive espionage designed to undermine its
relations in the Middle
East; its tolerance of Israel’s direct interference
via its ‘fraternal
organizations’ of the US legislative process; and its
refusal to
identify, arrest, prosecute and sentence high-level spies within
the
Cabinet have severely compromised the sovereignty of the United States.
It is Netanyahu and his top advisers received confidential update on
the Geneva talks from Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs
Wendy Sherman, not ISIS, Iran, Houthis, Venezuela, Syria, Russia or
China, that poses an immediate and direct threat to US national
security. Increasing Jewish colonialist expansion in Palestine; the
flaunting of its vast stockpile of nuclear, biological and chemical
weapons; operating its powerful network of political agents and spies in
high US offices are a direct, immediate threat to peace and stability in
the Middle East and the United States.
The activities of US Zionists
as spies and shock troops for Israel’s
effort to destroy Iran and undermine
US diplomacy, pose a long-term
threat to all Jews in America. Sooner or
later, Israel’s deep
penetration of US power centers and its manipulation of
elected American
officials, will lead to a prolonged, bloody, destructive
war. And it
can be expected that the greater US public will seek out those
responsible and demand they be held to account. Under the impact of the
devastation of war, who can be sure that the American public will be
able to distinguish between loyal Jewish-Americans and highly placed
Zionists acting on Israel’s behalf ? For that reason it is incumbent
that peace-loving American Jews get on their feet and clearly and
forthrightly denounce the Zionist minority, which claims to speak for
them.
All those Zionist ‘wise-guys’ of both genders, who think they have
been
so clever using their high office to serve Israel, are fooling
themselves. More and more citizens are becoming aware that Israel’s
espionage, its dictates to the US Congress and its manipulation of
Executive powers are harming America. At the present, highly placed
Zionist officials hold sway over the Obama Cabinet, but in the future
they may find themselves facing charges of being agents of a foreign
power, and a threat to US national security. They may find themselves
sharing a cell block with Jonathan Pollard! ==

Israel Didn't Give Me Info From Alleged Iran Talks Spying Operation

House
Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said on Tuesday that he never received
confidential information on the Iran nuclear talks from
Israel.
Boehner was responding to the Wall Street Journal report that
Israel
spied on Iran's nuclear talks with the U.S. and other countries, and
then shared the confidential information with U.S. lawmakers.
"I read
that story this morning, and frankly I was a bit shocked,"
Boehner told
reporters on Tuesday, according to The Hill. "There was no
information
revealed to me whatsoever."
"I'm shocked by the fact that there were
reports in this press article
that information was being passed on by the
Israelis to members of
Congress. I'm not aware of that at all," he
continued. "I'm baffled by it."
The Wall Street Journal reported on
Tuesday that Israel began spying on
the talks as part of a larger effort by
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu to build opposition to the nuclear
deal.
Israel's defense minister, Moshe Yaalon, said Tuesday that "there
is no
way" Israel spied on the negotiations between Iran and the

Netanyahu
Unmasks Israel
March 18, 2015
For years, U.S. politicians have
rejected allegations of Israeli
racism and excused mistreatment of the
Palestinians as a temporary
necessity that would be fixed by a two-state
solution. But Israeli Prime
Minister Netanyahu has destroyed those arguments
in his panic to keep
his job, reports Robert Parry.
By Robert
Parry
Desperate to win reelection, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu
stripped off Israel’s mask and exposed the ugliness that has
deformed
his country over the past several decades. He abandoned the
subterfuge
of a two-state solution, exposed the crass racism that underlies
Israeli
politics, and revealed Israel’s blatant control of the U.S.
Congress.
For years, these realities were known to many Americans, but –
if they
spoke up – they were condemned as anti-Semites, so most stayed
silent to
protect their careers and reputations. But – given Netanyahu’s
brazen
admissions – the American people may have little choice but to
finally
take notice of this troubling reality and demand a change in U.S.
policy.
The truth is that the two-state solution has been a fiction for
at least
the past two decades, dying in 1995 with the assassination of Prime
Minister Yitzhak Rabin. But the two-state illusion still served
important political purposes both for Israelis, who would pay it lip
service while continuing their steady encroachment on Palestinian lands,
and for U.S. politicians who could point to the mirage as an excuse not
to pressure Israel too hard on its human rights violations.
Yet,
whenever any U.S. official actually tried to reach that shimmering
oasis of
a two-state solution, it would recede into the distance. Then,
the Israelis
would rely on their friends and allies in the news media
and politics to
blame the Palestinians. Now, however, the illusion of
Israel seeking such an
outcome in good faith has been lost in
Netanyahu’s anything-goes
determination to keep his office – a case of
political expediency trumping
strategic expediency.
In the closing days of the campaign, Netanyahu
promised that as long as
he was prime minister he would block a Palestinian
state and would
continue building Jewish settlements on what international
law
recognizes as Palestinian land.
To further rally his right-wing
Jewish base, Netanyahu warned that “Arab
voters are streaming in huge
quantities to the polling stations” – an
alarm similar to racist politicians
in the United States motivating the
white vote with claims about loads of
blacks being bused to the polls.
With his crude appeal, Netanyahu undermined
the longstanding denial that
Zionism is a form of racism.
Even before
Netanyahu’s last-minute histrionics, he had exploited his
relationship with
the United States to burnish his reputation as a world
leader by appearing
for a record-tying third time as a foreign leader
addressing a joint session
of the U.S. Congress. (Only Great Britain’s
Winston Churchill had appeared
three times before Congress.)
Acting as almost a stand-in for the
President of the United States,
Netanyahu gave what amounted to a faux State
of the Union address filled
with scary tales about Iran and with dire
warnings against international
negotiations seeking to ensure that Iran’s
nuclear program remains peaceful.
Though some Democrats boycotted the
speech because it represented an
unprecedented insult to an American
president, the Republican majority
and many Democrats gave Netanyahu more
than 40 ovations as they cheered
his vitriolic attacks on Iran and his
denunciations of the negotiations
supported by President Barack Obama. [See
Consortiumnews.com’s “Congress
Cheers Netanyahu’s Hatred of
Iran.”]
Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran
Then, last weekend, a prominent
neoconservative Joshua Muravchik
admitted that the almost certain outcome of
Netanyahu’s scuttling of the
negotiations would be to bomb Iran. Muravchik
laid out this scenario in
a Washington Post article headlined “War is the
only way to stop Iran”
in print editions and “War with Iran is probably our
best option” online.
“What if force is the only way to block Iran from
gaining nuclear
weapons? That, in fact, is probably the reality,” Muravchik
wrote.
“Sanctions may have induced Iran to enter negotiations, but they have
not persuaded it to abandon its quest for nuclear weapons. Nor would the
stiffer sanctions that Netanyahu advocates bring a different result.
…
“Does this mean that our only option is war? Yes, although an air
campaign targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure would entail less need
for boots on the ground than the war Obama is waging against the Islamic
State, which poses far smaller a threat than Iran does. … Wouldn’t
destroying much of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure merely delay its
progress? Perhaps, but we can strike as often as necessary.”
In other
words, if Netanyahu keeps pulling the strings of the U.S.
government, an
open-ended war on Iran is the almost certain result. But
Netanyahu, for
short-term political gain, risked Israel’s longstanding
support from the
American people by spotlighting his role as the
marionette of the U.S.
Congress. [See Consortiumnews.com’s “A Neocon
Admits the Plan to Bomb
Iran.“]
Netanyahu’s reelection victory has clarified the situation for
the
American people in another way. We now know there will be no two-state
solution with the Palestinians as Israel cements its status as an
apartheid state – and all the cries of “anti-Semitism” are not likely to
silence people taking notice of this reality since the Israeli Prime
Minister himself has taken the sting out of the slur.
The American
people now have little choice but to recognize that Israel
intends to
maintain and expand its “Jewish state” pushing the
Palestinians into
isolated enclaves. For nearly a half century, Israel
has exercised effective
control over these indigenous people in the West
Bank and Gaza (totaling
more than 4 million people), but there was
always the hope of a Palestinian
state.
Now, by jettisoning the prospect of a “two-state solution,”
Netanyahu
will institutionalize what had long been the unacknowledged fate
of the
Palestinians. In essence, Netanyahu is opting for a one-state
solution,
just with most Palestinians confined to a state-less netherworld
where
they will be denied political rights, left to wither and
die.
And, whenever some Palestinians act up, Israel will wage war against
them, killing thousands at a time and destroying their homes and
infrastructure, what Israelis call “mowing the grass.”
With the
facades gone, Americans must decide if they will embrace this
apartheid
system or not. Many Christian Zionists, who are a powerful
force inside the
Republican Party, are okay with Israel’s brutal
repression because they see
the Jews taking this land as a step toward
fulfilling a biblical prophecy so
Jesus can return to earth as its king.
But rational Americans are
confronted with a difficult moral choice.
Either continue supporting
Netanyahu in brutalizing the Palestinians and
in his looming war against
Iran (using the U.S. military to carry it
out) or insist that the U.S.
government reassess its relationship with
Israel.
The developments of
March 2015 – from Netanyahu’s proconsul-style speech
before the U.S.
Congress to the racist incitements of his victorious
campaign – have forced
thoughtful Americans to abandon their
longstanding excuses for Israeli
behavior.
From now on, there’s no pretending that “standing with Israel”
doesn’t
mean kneeling in an obsequious acceptance of Netanyahu’s cruelty
toward
the Palestinians and cooperation in an illegal and aggressive war
against Iran.

convinced that Russia can be broken down with the
sanctions?
I regret
to say what we are seeing here in the Unites States are the
ascendancy of
two factions in this country who are against Russia and
the Russians. First
is Brzezinski, who was Obama's mentor when Obama was
a college student in
Columbia, and Brzezinski in 2008 ran all the
foreign affairs and defence
policies of the Obama presidential campaign
and has stacked his
administration with advisor on Russia at the
National Security Council comes
from the Brzezinski's outpoll CSIS there
in Washington D.C. I graduated from
the same Ph.D. programme at Harvard
that produced Brzezinski before
me.
He is a die-hard Russian hater, he hates Russia, he hates the
Russian,
and he wants to break Russia up into its constituent units, and,
unfortunately, he has his people, his proteges in the Democratic Party
and in this Administration. Second faction lining against Russia are the
neo-conservatives, for e.g. this latest Brookings Institute report
calling for arming the Ukrainian military in these Nazi formations which
is now reflected in this latest bill just introduced into the Congress
yesterday, and the neoconservatives feel exactly the same way against
Russia and the Russians.
I went to school with large numbers of these
neoconservatives at the
University of Chicago, Wolfowitz and all the rest of
them. Many of them
are grandchildren of Jewish people, who fled the pogroms
against Jews,
and they have been brainwashed against Russia and the
Russians. So you
have two very powerful factions here in the United States
against Russia
and the Russians who are driving this policy, and I regret to
report
there are very few voices opposing this.
So in my assessment,
the situation this is the dilemma that confronts
Russia today, that
confronts President Putin and it also certainly
confronts me having gone to
school with most these people both at
Chicago and Harvard and opposing them
for a generation, and all
peace-loving people in America that somehow here
in the United States we
are going to have to figure out a way to rein these
people in to avoid
the direct military confrontation between Russia and the
United States
that very well could occur if things get out of control there
in
Ukraine. So it's an extremely dangerous situation for both Russia and
the united states. There's no question about it. I haven't seen any
thing this dangerous in my lifetime since the Cuba missile crisis that I
personally lived through the 1962 and it inspired me to spend ten years
in studying the Soviet Union Russia at the University Chicago and
Harvard - two of the leading centres for training experts in this area
in the United States. So it's extremely dangerous, I could not
underestimate how dangerous the situation is.

Manufacturing
Dissent
By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
Global Research, March 27,
2015
PaulCraigRoberts.org
Professor Michel Chossudovsky is the
author of many important books. His
latest is The Globalization of War:
America’s Long War Against Humanity.
Chossudovsky shows that Washington has
globalized war while the US
president is presented as a global peace-maker,
complete with the Nobel
Peace Prize.
Washington has its military
deployed in 150 countries, has the world
divided up into six US military
commands and has a global strike plan
that includes space
operations.
Nuclear weapons are part of the global strike plan and have
been
elevated for use in a pre-emptive first strike, a dangerous departure
from their Cold War role.
America’s militarization includes military
armament for local police for
use against the domestic population and
military coercion of sovereign
countries in behalf of US economic
imperialism.
One consequence is the likelihood of nuclear war. Another
consequence is
the criminalization of US foreign policy. War crimes are the
result.
These are not the war crimes of individual rogue actors but war
crimes
institutionalized in established guidelines and procedures. “What
distinguishes the Bush and Obama administrations,” Chossudovsky writes,
“is that the concentration camps, targeted assassinations and torture
chambers are now openly considered as legitimate forms of intervention,
which sustain ‘the global war on terrorism’ and support the spread of
‘Western democracy.’”
Chossudovsky points out that the ability of US
citizens to protest and
resist the transformation of their country into a
militarist police
state is limited. Washington and the compliant foundations
now fund the
dissent movement in order to control it. He quotes Noam Chomsky
and
Edward S. Herman about manufacturing consent. He lets Paul Kivel
describe how funding of dissent by the elite results in the co-option of
grassroots community leadership. The same thing is happening to
environmental organizations. Black Americans also have lost their
leaders to the elite’s money and ability to bestow position and
emoluments.
Chossudovsky notes that progressive, left-wing, and anti-war
groups have
endorsed the “war on terror” and uncritically accept the
official 9/11
story, which provides the basis for Washington’s
wars.
Having accepted the lies, there is no basis for protest. Thus its
absence.
As Professor Stephen Cohen has observed, dissent has disappeared
from
American foreign policy discussion. In place of dissent there is
exhortation to more war. A good example is today’s (March 26, 2015)
op-ed in the New York Times by neoconservative John R. Bolton, US
ambassador to the UN during the George W. Bush regime.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/26/opinion/to-stop-irans-bomb-bomb-iran.html?_r=0
Bolton calls for bombing Iran. Anything short of a military attack
on
Iran, Bolton says, has “an air of unreality” and will guarantee that
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey will also develop nuclear weapons in
order to protect themselves from Iran. According to Bolton, the Israeli
and American nuclear arsenals are not threatening, but Iran’s would
be.
Of course, there is no evidence that Iran has a nuclear weapons
program,
but Bolton asserts it anyway. Moreover, Bolton manages to overlook
that
the agreement being worked out with Iran halts the Iranian enrichment
program far below the level necessary for nuclear weapons. Bolton’s
belief that Iran would be able to hide a weapons program if permitted to
have nuclear energy is unsubstantiated. It is merely an implausible
assertion.
The neoconservatives constitute a war lobby. When one war
doesn’t work,
they want another. They have an ever expanding war list.
Remember, the
neoconservatives are the ones who promised us a 3-week
“cakewalk” Iraq
war costing $70 billion and paid for by Iraq oil revenues.
After 8 years
of war costing a minimum of $3,000 billion paid for by US
taxpayers, the
US gave up and withdrew. Today jihadists are carving a new
country out
of parts of Syria and Iraq.
It is now a known fact that
the neocon Bush regime’s Iraq war was
totally based on lies, just as is
every other neocon war and the current
drive for war with Russia and Iran.
Despite their record of lies and
failure, the neocons still control US
foreign policy, and neocon Nuland
is busy at work fomenting “color
revolutions” or coups in the former
Soviet republics of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan,
and Uzbekistan.
Without the support of the New York Times, the neocons
could not have
got the Iraq War going. Now the New York Times, faithful to
the neocons
but faithless to the American people, is helping the neocons get
a war
going with Iran and Russia.
I have friends who are college
presidents who still read and believe the
New York Times. The wars with Iran
and Russia that the New York Times is
encouraging will be much more
dangerous than the wars with Iraq and
Afghanistan. Humanity might not
survive them.
(8) NSA spyware within hard drives supplied to

Hi Peter, one
of my neighbours, who was an American citizen, worked for
an Iranian owned
company in Australia, some years ago. He would use his
contacts in the USA
to purchase IT equipment that was banned to be sold
to Iran and arrange
delivery to a bogus Australian company. When this
equipment landed in
Australia it was delivered to an address and then
"overhauled" before being
renamed as a "legal IT machine" supplied by
Australia and forwarded to
Iran.
Included in the "overhaul" was an item of spyware on the hard
drives,
supplied by the US intelligence service, the inclusion was unknown
to
the Iranians who ran the company.
This was the 1990's and went on
for years. All sort of behind the veils
of secrecy and covert spy
activities.
Cheers Howard.
(9) Spyware in HD device manager

Subject: NSA HD software
Pete,
for win 7 OS - Lenovo
I
removed a deleterious shadow program that was attached to my HD device
manager drivers.
I first shut it down to see if there were any
effects. Once the shutdown
proved meaningless to operation, I queried the
properties as to the
owner but to no avail. It did have a route of data flow
to the IE
browser. I assume this is the NSA toy. Since I did that I have had
nothing but attempted break-ins that try to change my security
descriptors. Some one has dumped an esoteric program into my registry
that turns-on esoteric cab files that dump to my IE and to the Temp
files. That data is easily expunged before connection to the
WEB.
There is also resident software by McCaffey that resides in the
original
program cab files of sector 1. I caught McCaffey software doing
about
the same thing - making duplicate copies of my work. I dumped that
program from my sector 1 and do not have that problem anymore.
The
problem is that the NSA or any government agency has any number of
voyeurs
willing to compromise a pc. They make money selling tons of data
to the
Gov.
What pisses me off the most is the trouble they do to my OS and the
processor time they interrupt just to collect nothing!
Most of the
data dumps are sent to Cray Computers at isolated are code
500 fiber optic
network stations where a cypher program sifts and sniffs
to find some
connection to terrorism or major crime.
